I've seen these time and again... we're going to go broke buying K-Cups so we want to try one out. Anyone have a recommendation for ones that work (or don't)?

my DH uses them. We hated cleaning out the filters because it gets packed in there and the cups are just small.
We recommend getting the paper filters for kcups

DH used the Keurig brand one for a long time, but I think he stopped because it is a pain to clean. But it works really well! No issues with grounds getting into the coffee or anything.

I think it was like $11 at Wal-Mart? Got it Dec. 2012 so the price has probably gone down--seems cheaper on Amazon now! I love it; it's so easy! I find it easy to wash out. I never use regular K-cups, only this and loose ground and it makes great tasting coffee. And I've had it for over a year and a half, as long as my Keurig! Just be careful not to throw the mesh cup part away--my mom accidentally did while visiting but I realized what she did and saved it from the trash! -
@ILoveLettie: I have that one too and I love it! I think it's super easy to use and clean.

I have the same one as @cyndistar3: & @ILoveLettie: i really like it. It's not horrible to clean no worse than any other reusable filter
