I am going to get DH a Keurig for fathers day and I am trying to figure out which one I should get him!

Wait, there's more than one?! I'm going to favorite this bc MIL has been hinting to one for months. So I'm thinking a combo Christmas gift for her & FIL.

We have a platinum and its awesome. Compared to the smaller models, it makes larger cups and operates a little faster (at least as far as I have seen).

we have a cuisinart version. it comes with the water filter and reusable K-cup filter, you don't have to buy them as extras. it can make iced drinks too. the hot water is great for making oatmeal! i like it and it looks nice on our counter =)

@Lindsay05: I have heard the best reviews about the platinum because it has different sizes of output - which can help control the strength of the coffee!

Just the basic model with two cup sizes and no LED screen. Not a fan of the mini, it's just too small! ( maybe that's why they call it a mini??)

I have the basee model - it's fine but if I'd have bought it for myself I'd have spent the extra money to get the platinum.
Also, my favorite kcup is 'the donut house' - it's so yummy - it reminds me (its not the same but has the same sort of flavor) of Tim Horton's...and I'm Canadian so of course I love it!

@regberadaisy: the higher models have a clock as well as options on brew temperature (I like my coffee hot!) and bigger brew sizes - the biggest size on the base model is a mug, which isn't enough to fill a to go cup.
