If I am on the couch, my dog is not happy unless she is on my lap. Right now, I am sitting with my computer on my lap and a blanket under that. She demands to be under the blanket and doesn't care that she is under the laptop. Crazy dog.
Do your pets do anything you find just ridiculous?

If I haven't rubbed her belly, then she is upset with me and will whine until it's done. Plus, we have a little routine. I come home, she sits in my lap, I rub her belly, THEN she can go play with her toys or whatever. If it doesn't happen that way, she is a sad little girl.

My pup likes his tush scratched, so he goes between your legs so his tushy is right in your face. Strangers don't know this and they always think he's getting fresh with them. And he doesn't care if you're wearing a dress or a skirt, he still goes for it.

We have to give the cat love as soon as we get home from work or she will get super vocal and meow loud at you. She will meet you at the door, then run to the living room and throw herself down and wait for petting and belly rubs.
At night, she has to sleep ON my feet. If I curl up in fetal position instead of lay with my legs out, she will walk all over the bed until she finds my feet and then kick around the covers so she can curl up on top of them.

Charlie's whole life is a series of one ridiculous thing after another. Lately she's been going through a snobby teenager phase where she just wants to hang out in bed all day without her parents around. The crazy thing about this is that she's a herding dog and for the first 3.5 years of her life everything was non-stop action!
When we get in bed, Helo likes to get right on top of one of us. He's 55 lbs. and when he lays down on top of me it pretty much takes up my entire body. He's content to just lay like that and occasionally lick my face. But maybe that's not really ridiculous and just adorable.

Ugh where do I start? He has so many quirks... He was even on America's Funniest Videos!
He won't touch his toy if it's touching another one of his toys. He won't eat unless someone is watching him. He makes the most ridiculous noises. He sleeps under the covers with his head on the pillow. We've created a monster LOL

My one cat loves hair for some reason. She loves to give scalp massages when you're sitting down. She also loves to fall asleep with her face in my hair!

@Rachel: We have a funny video of my dog on you tube. We got this plastic ant that was on a 4th of July cake and he was terrified of it. Still is, we break it out every once in a while for funsies.

Our girl has figured out that the Roomba gets her balls out from under the sofa. Now she turns it on herself. I'll come home and find the vacuum going around the house and her on the sofa chewing a tennis ball.
