He has always been a favorite of my husband's and mine. I was checking my email when the news alert popped up on my phone, and from my reaction, my husband thought it was a member of my family who had died. I didn't want to show him the headline...
His brother called him almost immediately and his friends have been texting him nonstop since...

@tinyperson: same. I was hoping it was a hoax. So sad. I hope this helps bring awareness to depression and suicide so something good comes out of this

@reyorra: I'm trying to figure out the same thing! So many childhood favorites...Hook, Jumanji, Mrs. Doubtfire...but then some that I've loved as an adult...Goodwill Hunting, August Rush, License to Wed...and of course there was Aladdin! Ugh. Such a shame and so sad.
ETA: And Dead Poet's Society and The World According to Garp!
