@dagret: My regular OB who I loved throughout my pregnancy with LO. I just don't think it's his expertise, and am going to ask for a referral to a RE the next time I go.

@2PeasinaPod: I would if I were you. I was just about to push for an RE referral when I found the IF study I got enrolled in. Good luck!

@Cherrybee: Yep! Crazy how fast time goes by! And boy do you have a good memory Lots of luck to you as well!
@dagret: Congrats! So happy for you! I remember your story and connecting with you right when I joined HB
@GreenThumb: Lots of luck to you on your FET in three weeks! Where are you moving to? Some place exciting?
@MrsMccarthy: "I am trying to enjoy this time too and not wish it away in my eagerness." yes to this - I want to be mindful of this as well as we jump back in...Lots of luck to you!

Considering.
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get?
2-3 years
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
My wonderful OB retired soon after LO was born, so sadly I have to go through the whole process of finding a new one. I'm kind of picky about doctors.
- How do you feel?
Not sure if I feel ready to be pregnant again...but definitely want more kids, so guess I need to suck it up!

Fun thread, I'll play!
- How old is your LO? 15 months
- What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant? 11 weeks pregnant
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get? 22 months
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider? I'm a SAHM with some flexible freelance work, so child care costs weren't a consideration. I'd like at least 3, potentially up to 5 or even 6 (I think, I guess we'll see how 2 goes first!) so time is of the essence My brother and I were also 21 months apart and had a fun childhood and have a great relationship now, so that was a factor.
- How do you feel? Mostly really good, but slightly terrified when I think of keeping my toddler happy and my newborn cared for on very little sleep. I love sleep, and DS started sleeping through the night fairly early, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed...
- Anything else you want to share? Last night, my husband said "I think we might want a bigger gap between #2 and #3, just so you have a little longer time not being pregnant." Haha! Sounds pretty good right about now, buddy. I am in awe of those with 13, 14, 15 month age gaps. I feel like I just did this, and they're not even *that* close together.

@dagret: I also totally missed that you were 5 weeks! Congratulations

@sweetooth: @MrsMccarthy: @2PeasinaPod: Thanks ladies - good luck with your TTC'ing! I was really mentally prepared to put in the 6 months and need to head back to the RE, but it worked on our own this time... Hoping for a sticky baby!

- How old is your LO? 12 months
- What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant? I am 38.5 weeks pregnant!
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get? They will be about 12.5 months apart.
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider? We didn't. We NTNP after having LO and ended up with a much closer gap than we had anticipated! That said, I'm very excited now that I've gotten used to the idea and am thrilled for little man to have a sister so close in age.
- How do you feel? I'm feeling like life is about to change dramatically and that the next few months are going to be hard - but worth it!
- Anything else you want to share? We will not be NTNP after little miss is born.

TTC, July will be month #12
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get?
Really wanted 2-2.5 but looking like it will be 2.5-3+
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
I really wanted to be pregnant before lo was 2 so then if I have a repeat of horrible morning sickness then lo1 will hopefully not be as aware of it. Just hoping I won't have morning sickness again
- How do you feel?
Frustrated. LO1 was a surprise while I was on the pill so having it take 12 months of trying this time has really taken it's toll. I'm giving it another 2-3 months before I'll be referred to a fertility clinic.
- Anything else you want to share?
Not that I can think of!

10 months on Friday
- What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant?
We are planning - probably will pull the goalie in November/December 2013
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get?
2 years, minimum
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
DH is finishing a surgical residency in June, 2015, with a big exam in the spring. I don't want to be in the 3rd tri when he's writing but would love another August baby! We also will likely be moving at the end of June so it would be nice to plan a mat Leave to start around then!
- How do you feel?
Excited, anxious, hopeful that it takes us 6 months or less again next time.

@coopsmama: Wow, WHAT a shock that must have been!! It's going to be so lovely after the first few months, though - they will have so much fun together growing up!
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
@Cherrybee: It was the biggest shock ever! But both DH and I just rolled with it - nothing else to do at that point! I do feel bad though because DH found out via text - I was too stunned in the moment to even attempt a cute way to tell him!

@Smurfette: Yep totally flipped. And December, maybe we'll be TTC together again??
@Cherrybee: How do I know it was an evap?? Let's see... I took a FRER that night which was negative, then a FRER and a wondfo with FMU the next day which were both negative, then another medical-grade test at work (I work in a health clinic) which was also negative. We were thanking all the deities available

@JoJoGirl: Maybe!! Now to just figure out how the heck to pay for said child.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Smurfette: Yes, that's the reason we freaked out over the evap... where to find that extra $17,000 a year we have laying around for daycare...
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@JoJoGirl: I hear ya!! That is how much another would cost us.

- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get? HOPEFULLY 2 year age gap, if I get pregnant by September ish.
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
Advanced maternal age is making me a bit antsy.
- How do you feel?
I feel great, excited, nervous, and scared too.
- Anything else you want to share?
If I don't get pregnant by Spring, we'll be one and done, which I am okay with also.

@dagret: Congrats!
I got an okay to continue Weight Watchers during TTC and pregnancy yesterday. I was so excited that I text my DH about it. I think we're getting closer and closer to trying. I'm actually excited about it whereas not too long ago I was terrified or not ready.

Just got my BFP this morning so thought I'd join in!
DD is 25 months.
Just tested + this morning. DH doesn't know yet and trying to think of a cute way to tell him
Dd and LO2 will be just shy of 3 yrs apart.
We are living with my parents saving up for a down payment on a house so now I'm really anxious to get out of here sooner rather than later! But also the extra help with DD while I'm preggers will be great! Also I'm 36 (37 when LO is due) so a little worried about "advanced age" And I need to find an OB!
So far I'm feeling good. Some tummy aches this morning but that could just be nerves!

- How old is your LO?
Almost 9 months!
- What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant?
Considering/Planning - DH wants to start yesterday but I'm thinking we'll be looking more around Decemberish.
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get? If we got pregnant quickly, LO's would be right around 2 years apart. I would be fine with 2 years to 2.5 years.
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
My sanity! But mostly age gap, we want them close together!
- How do you feel?
Absolutely terrified.. to the core. But excited!
- Anything else you want to share?
I'm hoping for a boy. DH wants a girl.. Both names already have been chosen! Oh, and did I mention I'm freaking out?!?! AHH!
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@BeachMama: Congrats!!
@MrsTiz: Love this! We just decided on names too! I can't decide whether I want another boy or a girl- I go back and forth, but I'd be thrilled with either.

-How old is your LO?
Almost 9 months.
- What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant?
Considering. I'm starting to get baby fever but know we need to hold back. LO doesn't sleep they the night, and I don't have my period back. Hopefully will begin ttc December or January.
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get?
Would love them to be ~2 years apart.
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
Career. Currently am a sahm but don't want to be forever. Trying to figure out if it makes sense to just have the babies and worry about that after....
- How do you feel?
It still feels a long ways off. We will see!
- Anything else you want to share?
We always talked about 2 but are toying with the idea of 3. I'm 33 so can't wait forever!

- What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant?
Pregnant! 7w4d!
- What age gap do you want/ are you going to get?
They will be 18 months almost to the day apart
- What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
Dh and I both wanted our kids to be close in age. We started trying as soon as I got my cycle back and got our BFP on cycle #2
- How do you feel? Much better then I did at this point in my first pregnancy. I can't believe how hungry I am! All the time! I guess that's what happens when you're growing a baby and still breastfeeding.
- Anything else you want to share? Hmm I knew right away #1 was a girl. I'm pretty sure this one is a boy. If it is, Dh and I will discuss if we want #3 or not. We both want 3, but it might make more financial sense to only have 2. We will see!

Super late the this party but I'll jump in any way. Gah. Just posting in this thread is giving me serious anxiety!
How old is your LO?
14.5 months
What stage are you at in the process? Considering it? Planning? TTC? Pregnant?
Very, very, VERY tentatively considering. We have been pretty firmly one and done up until this point.
What age gap do you want/ are you going to get?
We would want a MINIMUM three year age gap. Wouldn't need to TTC for a year still.
What other factors are you considering/did you consider?
That maybe we don't want another baby!
The impacts on our lifestyle. The impacts on our marriage. The impacts on my mental health.
How do you feel?
Crazy. I basically change my mind multiple times a day and feel like I'm having a bit of a personal crisis over the whole thing. I know I have time to decide, but I kind of just want to decide one way or the other and be done with it.
Anything else you want to share?
Just that if anyone would like to volunteer to just make the decision for me I'd really appreciate now having to think about it anymore
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@heartonastring: Say what??
And I agree, I just want someone to make the decision for me. In my heart I want two, but financially and mentally (most of the time) 1 makes sense.
pomegranate / 3895 posts
@Smurfette: I know. I seriously had heart palpitations just posting about it. Hold me.
