DD is 3 months old. She rolled from her back to her belly twice the day she turned 3 months old but she has NEVER rolled from belly to back.
She was sleeping amazingly swaddled in her PnP next to our bed. We'd put her down after seeing her sleep signs and she'd go right out no fussing.
Now that she's rolling I know we cant' swaddle her anymore but even WITHOUT a swaddle, she can't get off her belly since she only rolls the other way.
so we tried taking her out of her swaddle and letting her sleep in her RnP instead of the flat surface, but she HATES it and can't get to sleep. She flails her arm more than seems humanly possible (they move so fast her arms blur on the monitor camera... you can't even see them) so we try to rock her in the RnP holding her arms in place but she just can't get calm and screams. She also has always refused a pacifier so that doesn't help.
I don't know what to do, we were in SUCH a good routine and now we're at a point I can't even get her to sleep without TONS of crying and us feeling helpless until she passes out from exhaustion. Once she gets to sleep she stays asleep pretty well (2 hour naps and only wakes up once at night) but getting her to sleep is terrible.
Any advice??? anyone else have a baby roll back to belly first? How did you let them sleep after that?
