i was just going to post this as well! Funny how they tell us to avoid deli meats because of risk of listeria when there hasn't been an outbreak in meat in a while, but apples, cantaloupes, ice cream and now hummus all have had recalls.

Ugh. I finished off a container of hummus yesterday but can't remember if it was Sabra or another brand as I buy both!! Of course I'm slightly under the weather today and convinced it's listeria. I believe they caught it soon enough though, before too much got distributed, right?

Yikes. Was just eyeing some in the store last weekend... glad I didn't buy it! I'd have eaten it by now and would be freaking out.

@hellobeeboston: I've also been sick with weird nausea and weakness the past 2 days, as has LO1, and we've both been working our way through a tub of Sabra. Well, not today since I've felt so sick

My sister actually told me that hummus was a "need to avoid while pregnant" food due to listeria risk back when she was pregnant...now I'm glad I followed that advice even though it is rarely raised as a risk as I definitely have been craving hummus recently. I only eat it while pregnant if I make it myself or it's a restaurant where they make it there.
Gross.
