Has anyone used the Safe Traffic System Ride Safer 2 Travel Vest? The safety report is pretty convincing. DH would love not to have to carry the carseat everywhere. Just wanted to hear a personal experience with it.

I am currently using this with LO and it is working great! A great safe alternative to a car seat and allowed us to carry additional groceries and luggage on our ski trip. Can't wait to try out in Disneyworld in the fall. I think the fact that it is pink makes LO ever so excited to jump in it. According to LO (age 4) the only downfall is that she can't sleep comfortably in it, though she has already taken two naps and seemed fine. Also I noticed the price rose up again so if you are interested in saving- you can wait for sales around $120.
@mr.bee can you transfer this to travel board. Also I was thinking this might be a good blog post?

@808love: what's your child's height/weight? I have a 4 year old and I am wondering if it's an option for us for some upcoming road trips. I noticed they have size small and large, which do you have?
I also understand those don't expire like car seats, so I imagine the resale is pretty good too!

@looch: She is in a small at barely 30 lbs. I think she is a little over 3 feet. I think you are right-I'm also looking forward to a good resale in a few years! @mrbee: Oh great! I think it is going to catch on but not too many people know about it right now. It has been super helpful with visiting family too. We are shuffled cousin to cousin, car to car, as we want to spend time with everyone so it is much better than lugging and installing a carseat.
By the way- last I checked, I think the 2 is better than the 3. It comes with a headrest, tethers and has a safety certification that the other doesn't.
