A survey released by the American Psychological Association found that working moms are happier than SAHMs. Check out this article: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/12/111212124520.htm

I'm pregnant and am a part-time PR consultant who works at home but am contemplating going back to a traditional work environment (i.e., a full time position in an office) before I have the baby and before I start to show(!). I'm torn by what will make me and our family happiest!

Are you a SAHM or a working mom?

If you're a working mom do you work full time or part time?

If you're a SAHM do you wish you'd stayed in the workforce?

If you are a working mom and work full-time, do you wish you were a SAHM or work fewer hours?

I can't figure out how to create a poll otherwise I'd create a poll. I appreciate your thoughts!

[EDIT: PS, I am currently planning to take time off when I have the baby and then continue consulting from home but at the moment, I'm feeling like I need to get back to a traditional work environment with less stress of finding new business when old business goes away. Childcare options not discussed as of yet.]
