They do to me! DH even works some Saturday but weekends still feel exciting and like something to look forward to. I'm surprised because I always assumed they'd feel like just another day once I was staying at home. They go by SO fast though!

As long as Dh will be home it does, but then again, I'm only 4 weeks in!

It does now that I'm babysitting. Before though, every day felt like Tuesday to me.

Of course - the days my husband is off work are amazing. We have a ton of fun all together.

Yeah! DH (work) and DS (school) are both home, so we do plenty of family outings.
I just realized, though, that I guess I'm not technically a SAHM right now, though, since I'm taking some classes this semester.

Heck yes I LOVE having DH home. Although, for the past 4 saturdays LO has fought his second nap hard on Saturdays.. I think he wants to stay up and play with his dad!

Definitely. DH even worked a half day today, and I still felt more relaxed at home with LO.
P.S. not officially a SAHM, but on maternity leave, and leaning towards staying home until after LO's first birthday.

@scg00387: E went through a phase just like that at the same age! I looked forward to/dreaded weekends because of it! He adjusted though- there's hope

@Running Elley: Today he wasn't even crying or fighting the nap per se just.. NOT sleeping. I should've just left him I guess but I was terrified of what the night would look like if he only took one nap from 9-10:30!! Silly babies! Glad to hear he might grow out of it

No, they do not. Mr. T is an equal-opportunity worker, and weekends don't mean much to him. We probably get more of his time during the week than the average family would get with a work-out-of-the-home spouse, so that part is really nice, but weekends don't mean he's home all day long.

Absolutely! I love when DH is home and we can all spend time together...

Weekends are definitely more exciting for some reason. My husband is home and we're more likely to go out to eat or do fun things. I usually get all my errands done during the week so we have the weekends to relax and all be together.
