Not very often, to be honest. A couple hours here and there on a weekend, maybe?

DH and I did go see The Killers in London last week and we left her with a friend of mine. We were gone for like 6-7 hours and I was freaking out the whole time! lol

a few hours every few weeks is that bad? We try to get DHs mom over every once in a while to babysit so we can run errands and such.

Not enough! Maybe once or twice a week I go to the gym at night and DH will put LO to bed.

My husband enjoys taking our LO out on his own, so he usually takes him out for a couple hours one weeknight and then for a few hours on the weekend. He can tell when I need a break and just packs up his stuff and LO and they head to Target or the mall for a bit

For date nights...we get maybe 1- 2nights out a month on average.

So far I think I've spent an hour* away from him, total...when we were at the grocery store and DH was hanging out with him watching baseball in the food court dining room while I knocked out our list.

But he's only 6 weeks old, haha.

*Hour=half an hour before I got anxious and went to check on them, then another half hour

During the day, I can probably count on one hand how many times I've been away from LO (and he's almost 15 months). Date nights we've had a few more, but they are always clustered because we don't have any family close to us.

Not too often. Only for the occasional doctor appt, pedicure, hair cut, etc. I don't mind it thoUgh! DH and I are homebodies.

Rarely. I haven't been away from my son since May/Early June & even then, it was just a trip to the grocery store.

At least a few hours every weekend and sometimes more. Like a lot of commenters, both of our families are far away, so it isn't the easiest. Plus, my husband very rarely gets home before 8:30 at night. However, I am blessed with wonderful friends who will come and sit with LO for a couple of hours if I want to run out and do some errands. Usually it's after LO has gone to bed, but that's just the way it is.

None of my friends here have kids and they have kind of learned how to look after a baby through observing LO. So it isn't ideal, but I trust my friends. Plus, I am never far away and I can easily make it home should something happen. Honestly, I'm just not prepared to never leave the house without my baby. I would definitely go insane!

I almost never leave LO with DH. Our gym has daycare, so about 5 hours a week I have some "alone time" with DH--at the gym.

I've only been away from DD twice since she's been born (she's 15 weeks old). Once for my pp check-up and once to get lunch with my sister when she was visiting. I really wish I could get out for an hour or two maybe every 2 weeks...but DH works a ton and my parents are pretty busy so there's really no one else to watch them.
