I.m a WAHM and rarely put on makeup. Too lazy even with my dark under eye circles.

Yep, I'm a SAHM & put on very little make up every day. Makes me feel better & encourages me to get out of pjs, lol.

I always put on makeup to leave the house, and I pretty much always leave the house on the days I am home with LO all day (or I go crazy). I don't do it just for sitting around at home, but I probably should because I always feel better about myself once I am put together.

I SAH other than school two days a week, and put on make-up maybe 3-5 days a week, but even when I was working I didn't put make-up on everyday. Somedays I just use a little BB cream and mascara. I find that freshens me up and I don't look so tired, but I feel like it still lets my skin breathe.

@MamaJ: Lol, my husband is exactly the same. When I am all made up he says I "look nice," which is code for "I am supposed to say something, aren't I?" Genuine compliments usually occur when I am not done up at all!
I stopped wearing makeup regularly years ago when I started working out a lot and found myself doing a lot of errands going to and from the gym, when I wasn't wearing any or had sweated it off. I only wore it to work, and when I used to work at home, that meant only wearing it 2-3 times a week. Now that I am an SAHM, I rarely wear it, even on the weekends. And I think my skin is better for it!
I definitely prefer being dressed in jeans and a non-tshirt vs. just wearing whatever... that makes me feel more pulled together, but it seldom happens! A lot of it is budgeting, I haven't had as much clothes budget these days so I wear the same things over and over and over!

@runnerd: I seriously can't believe the difference. I mean, it may also be hormones/getting older/less stress or the products I'm using. But in the past I've done all the big acne treatments, and all of a sudden I have a great skin.

Yes, I do my makeup every day. I absolutely hate taking the time to do it, but as others have said, it helps me to feel better about myself and I find that I get more done on the days that I look put together, too. Sometimes it's the bare minimum though -- and on those days I usually just throw my hair up in a ponytail haha.

Yep. Every day. Mostly because I have to take DS to preschool but even when I don't go anywhere, I hate feeling frumpy.

I'm a WOHM but currently I'm on maternity leave and I do not put on makeup most of the time. Even when I'm working I often skip makeup on the weekends. Like others have said it did seem to help my skin too.

I'[m a SAHM and I only put on makeup when I'm leaving the house...driving to pick up DS from school doesn't count. When I do wear makeup, it's only mascara and lip gloss, especially lately, since my face is really prone to acne during this pregnancy.

I don't wear makeup, but yeah, I shower and put on real clothing and look my personal best each day. Even if we're not seeing anyone but family. I wouldn't feel like myself if I didnt'.

No I don't usually wear makeup these days while at home (SAHM until summer 2014) and noticed I have saved tons of money not buying makeup. I still put moisturizer on and straighten my hair daily though. I do put on makeup if I run errands.

My husband hates makeup. I wear a very small amount when I leave the house but don't bother when I am just hanging out at home. Note: I work full time so this only applies on days when I work from home or weekends.

Every day.
It helps me feel like "Sarah" and not just "Brady's mom," if that makes sense.

ha! no. i might do tinted moisturizer, mascara and blush if i'm going out for an appointment or something. but just staying at home, going to the store? heck to the no. my skin likes to breathe!

Nope! I pretend like I have natural beauty. Haha. I'm actually just lazy and cheap. The last time I had makeup on was for my friend's wedding.

I only wear makeup on days when I feel like I look tired. I have alway been a makeup minimalist, and unless it's a special occasion I just put on mineral powder/concealer, blush and mascara

I'm a sahm and I put on makeup every day. We usually end up going out and I don't want to be rushed getting ready. Also yoy never know when a neighbor or someone will pop by.

When I was a SAHM I wore way more make up than before...it just helped me look and feel less tired and run down. My make up routine only consists of tinted moisturizer, bronzer, blush, eye concealer and mascara.

Hahah no. I'm a sAHM and A lot of days I just wear gym clothes and don't shower til night. If I go to a playgroups or class I wear a little markup.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
Pretty much exactly what @Silva: said. I almost never wear it anymore, my skin has improved, and when I go out (and not even out to like the grocery store or anything) I put on some BB cream, bronzer, a little blush, mascara and tinted lip gloss. Done in less than 2 minutes.

@Danizaur: I do. But dd and I go somewhere most days! And I just feel a lot better! If I were you I definitely would...it's one of those things you might not have time to do (at least in peace) after baby gets here. On the other hand, if that's not how you want to use your time then don't bother. Basically, I'm saying indulge yourself.

Nope I don't put on any makeup if I'm not leaving the house! I've been like that for years.

Oh man! I wish! I used to be a makeup everyday person religiously! I love makeup! But now I just can't seem to always work it in. I'm trying though

I'm on maternity leave and I've worn a little makeup every day. I've been having a lot of visitors and they take pictures, plus I prefer how I look with makeup on.
