Does anyone else have a Sandra Boynton rhyme stuck in their head at the moment? I can't seem to stop singing the Pajama Jam....jamma jamma jamma jamma PJ!

I used to wake up with the Snugglepuppy words in my head. I had to stop reading it at bedtime! Ha!

I almost always have Moo Baa La La La stuck in my head! It's catchy! Which is at least handy for when my lo turns the pages too quickly or tries to eat the book!

@sweetooth: Pajama Time is my daughter's all time favorite book. I'm sitting in my office and just realized I can recite the entire thing from memory, haha.
@Mrs. Taco: And when the moon is on the rise, they all go up to... exercise?!?! I feel like Sandra was reaching too hard for a rhyme on that one. Exercise is not part of our bedtime routine.

Snuggle Puppy... Allllllll the time. I ask LO his animal sounds and when I say "what does snuggle puppy say?" He goes "Oooooooh!"

@My Only Sunshine: The exercise part makes my whole family groan. It's like telling kids, once you're all ready for bed, do something totally crazy and not on task for a long time that gets you not ready for bed anymore.

Now that is the only way I can sing it.
Barn yard dance is kind of like spoken word poetry in our house.
DS knows the whole thing and acts it all out as I read. He makes DH do it with him. Although he hasn't requested it in a while.. At one point, he was "reading" it and making us do it. But he would repeat his favorite ones. "Bow horse!" "scramble chicks"

I woke up this morning with "night night little pookie" in my head. i often sing snuggle puppy too.
I might be the only person, but i actually like the exercise part of going to bed book! i always let my LO get some extra energy out before bedtime so she sleeps better, so it makes sense to me

My husband was just complaining tonight about "the book with the animals on the boat" and "why do they exercise after they are completely ready for bed?"
Sing Moo Baa LaLaLa to the tune of Lady GaGa's Bad Romance and it will really get stuck in your head.

She's one of the few "non-friends" I follow on Facebook. I'm amused at the cute drawings she posts from time to time!
(Barnyard dance and Moo Baa are staples around here!)
