Baby will be six weeks on Thursday and I stopped bleeding like a few days ago and today a pad of bright red blood...could it be AF coming back for her monthly visits? Anyone get their periods back that soon! I hope it is just baby G sucking everything out! I was looking forward to at least a couple more months of no AF. I am EBF and staying to pump. Tell me I'm wrong!

It is possible...mine came back at 4 & 3 weeks!

I bled off and on until about 10 weeks. I would think I'd be done, and then it would start again (usually after more activity on my end). I knew it wasn't AF because it would come and go and no cramps! Hopefully it's not AF for you.

I bled until 5 weeks pp, then stopped for a week, then started again for another week at 6 weeks. I thought it was AF, but after that week it was gone for months and months (not counting some problems I'm currently having with my IUD).

Same as @Pepper: From weeks 8-10, it would come and go. FX'd for you that AF stays away!

@BabyMats: at 6 weeks I had a day and a half of spotting and then nothing until AF returned at 9.5 months. No idea what the 6 weeks was!

I ebf round the clock (still BFing at a year) and I got mine back 7 weeks pp

@BabyMats: That's what happened to me . . . I started walking with LO in a stroller at exactly 6 weeks pp . . . I was still spotting at that point, but after the first walk, I started bleeding again. My OB told me I needed to wait another 2 weeks to resume walking activity. So, I started taking LO for walks again at 8 weeks (albeit more slowly!), and was okay.
ETA: AF did not return until 10 months pp for me.

Ugh..I'm sorry for everyone that got it back so soon!! I'm still hoping for pp bleeding but the jury is still out

Im 9 weeks pp and Im still bleeding. Its light on some days, heavier on others, sometimes brown and sometimes bright red. It doesn't feel like AF.

@BabyMats: yeah it may not really be Af but almost some sort of continuation of the pp bleeding. i had something similar and it was confusing

It came back for me exactly as you described at 6w PP.
But, then it didn't return steadily and consistently until about 5m PP. It was weird.
I had completely spotted bleeding and/or spotting by 4w. -
My PP bleeding was consistent for the first two weeks, and then continued to taper and be on and off for the next three weeks. AF returned for me this past weekend at nearly 10 weeks, ugh.
