And getting a Samsung Galaxy Note 3!
Ahhh I'm nervous to switch, but I'm sick of my iPhone. The speaker is broken and it shuts off when there is less than 30% battery life. I've had an iPhone for the past 5 years though!
Anyone have a Samsung and like it better than the iPhone?

Please let us know how you like the samsung! My contract is up in a month and i've been considering switching, especially because the reception in our apartment is terrible and I think it's in part due to my iphone!

@Pepper: I was debating getting rid of my iphone too but don't know if I can do it! It was working fine up until a few months ago (2 year agreement is up in a few weeks), and all the sudden everything is wrong with it. So frustrating! Let me know what you think of your new phone

No, I keep getting the latest iPhone via upgrades or early upgrades. I am just so use to the iPhone functions. I like being grandfathered into ATT's unlimited data plan too (had it since 1st generation of iPhones). Good luck with the switch though. Let us know how it goes.

Ooh yay! I've never had an iPhone but I went from the galaxy nexus to the note 2 and I absolutely love the bigger screen. I can never go back!! I call it my phablet (phone/tablet) but I don't mind the size one bit since I never put it in a pants pocket and it still fits in my wristlet wallet!

@Pepper: I switched to the s4 and I hate it. DH and I can't wait to get iPhones again. What makes it worse is I have a MacBook so it's a pain to get photos off my s4.

@betsyboop: @Bao: My friend has the note 3, which is why I want to get it... It's SO cool. You can use a stylus and jot down notes, the screen is huge and the camera is great. The only downside is no more FaceTime... but they make a Skype app for free. I'll let you know how I like it!

@Pepper: I used to have palm pilots so when I heard about the stylus I went nuts!! I love it!! It's even pressure sensitive so drawing with it is really fun.

@Pepper: I can't speak for the Note but one of the biggest enticements for me was the s4 took really nice pictures. Better than the iPhone and I don't feel that has been the case. Reception is not that great on it. And horrible on the Active (which is to be expected).
And I just like my iPhone apps so much more! haha
But I will say it seems less buggy.

I just sold my iPhone 4 back to apple for $183 and got the 5s for almost nothing! I had no idea they did the buy back. I went into the apple store because my speaker was also broken and it would have cost 138$ to pay to fix phone and get a new battery.

@locavore_mama: for picture taking the Nokia lumia 1020 is amazing! My friend has it and I'd consider switching if 1) I didn't just get an iPhone earlier this year 2) if the windows phones had more apps

I'm an Apple-holic! After trying a bunch of different smart phones and finally getting an iPhone I will never have anything else!
To be fair I've never tried a Galaxy though so I hope you like it!

I recently switched to the iPhone 5c because my old Galaxy was having too many issues. It took a little getting used to, but I'm loving the iPhone.
However, I bought my husband a Galaxy tablet for Christmas, so I'm still a Galaxy fan.

I have the note 3 and I freaking love it.
I was playing with an iPhone 5S the other day at a kiosk and I don't know how people stand such a tiny screen lol.

I have a 5c and my husband has a 4s. I never wanted a huge, bulky phone to carry around. But after playing with the 8" tablet I got him for Christmas, our phones look pretty tiny to us now!
