For those of you with two or more kids, how long was your first birth and how long was your second? I've been hearing a lot of super fast second birth stories lately, and I'm hoping mine ends up that way!

My first, I was induced at 41 weeks, so an induction is definitely not the same as going into labour naturally.
For my son, they broke my water at 9am and I gave birth at 10:50pm. I had an epidural which slowed the work down, but I pushed for 2:30 hours (he was stuck - normal with a 9 lbs baby)
For my daughter, I went into labour naturally, went to the hospital at 11:50 when I was having contractions about 5 mins apart, got my room at 12:15 and gave birth at 2:27 (they broke my water at about 2:10-2:15) I pushed literally 2 times and she came out. Didn't have time to get any drugs/epidural...
So ya, the second time around is faster.

DD1 was born almost 24 hours after labor started at home. I remember the first contraction waking me up at 3:30am, my water broke at home at 5:30pm and she was born after 1.5 hours of pushing at 2:44am.
DD2 was born 12 hours after my water broke at home. I had no real contractions for 5 hours after my water broke at 11:15am-ish. They started me on pitocin at 4:30pm and I was fully dialated at 10pm. 45 mins of pushing and she was born at 11:17pm.
So yes, 2nd was faster but still a reasonable time, not crazy fast.

My labor with DD lasted about 9 hours. My water broke (and strong contractions started) at about 11:30; I got to the hospital around 12:30; and DD was born at 8:31 after 30 minutes of pushing.
My labor with DS lasted about 12 hours. I started feeling contractions at about 9 am; I got to the hospital around 2; my water broke around 4 pm; and DS was born at 8:59 pm after about 30 minutes of pushing. DS had a really big head, though, and he was almost a pound bigger than DD, I had a harder time pushing him out.

First was 5 hours active labour, 1 our pushing (8 hours from first contraction).
Second was 2 hours active labour, 2 minutes pushing (5 hours from water breaking.
So much easier the second time!
However, my cousin had her second kid in 45 minutes! And my best friend woke up in transition and pushed her baby (second as well) out literally 15 minutes later.
Craziness.

My first baby was a 2 push baby, though a fairly long active labor... (maybe 6 hours?). My second baby was easy for me and a C-section for birthmom. She was in the OR for about 40 minutes

My nurse says labor the 2nd time around is usually 1/2 the time of the 1st! From start to baby took 12 hours my first time. Hoping for a smooth and fast delivery with #2!

My first was 24 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing with no progress... ended up being a vacuum assisted delivery.
I'm REALLY hoping my second will be much faster and easier! So far Lil Miss Wagon's head is measuring average (Wagon Jr.'s measured at 99th percentile) so fingers crossed for a much easier labor and delivery this time around.
