I'm glad that they're taking out their BS page, but it's upsetting to know that they even had one. I've read though a lot of the comments and most people seem to think it's too little too late.
I feel bad knowing that Monika Allen is still battling cancer. I can not wrap my head around how she can do what she does!

I don't buy it - they're apologizing because of bad press and not wanting to lose readers. If there hadn't been a backlash over this they never would have given their actions a second thought.

It's nice that they addressed this, but there's something about the way it was handled that I still don't like. "She felt we had taken a bullying approach"..."I agree". And do they really have to say they wanted to "create a positive message" out of it? Why can't they just emphasize that they're sorry about what they did?

I don't understand many women's magazines in the first place. Why do women as a group try to tear other women down? The BS page shouldn't have existed in the first place. I am glad that self is getting rid of it but sad that this story even existed

Also @sugarplumsmom and @wonderstruck I agree on the "too little too late" and not wanting to lose readers. I'm sure their circulation will be down for a couple months.
