So I think I'm going to throw in the towel and sell my stash of cloth diapers. Because DH never came around to using cloth and daycare only using disposables, I haven't used them since last summer. I have about 25 Bum Genius 4.0 one size diapers to sell. My question is - how much should I sell them for? I'm not looking to make big bucks, just sell them for a fair price. They are in great condition, no smell.

I wasn't trying to make any back and I sold 12 BG 4.0s for $65.

What kind of condition are they in and how are the elastics?
To get them ready for selling I would wash them and sun them to get out any stains.
I would sell without the inserts to save on shipping costs.

I sold my AIO for $15 bucks a pop, but they were barely used.

@T.H.O.U.: I think they are in good to great condition. If someone told me they were new, I'd believe it. The elastics seem fine. Washing and sunning them is a good idea, especially since they've been stored in bins for 10 months.

I think $10-12 per diaper is reasonable, especially if they were barely used. I paid $10 for some second hand BG 4.0's that were definitely used and they are still going strong almost two years later! I bought those on craigslist from a local mom.

How much would all of you pay for totally unused, new BG 4.0s and Freestyles?
I registered for some and got a lot, plus bought a few myself. My husband was super against CDing and I just washed 2 to try and then decided to just use disposables. So I have 15 totally unused AIOs, only 2 of which were ever even washed.
I posted them on Craigslist and got ridiculously lowball prices (to me), like $5 each. I posted $15 each but would have settled for $13 each.

@Anagram: I think $15 is a fair price. I sold mine on a mom's swap group on FB for that price and nobody tried to lowball me. $5 is seriously an insult.

@Anagram: I would pay $8-10 for used. The new ones are $17 so $15 seems too high.
$13 for washed but never used.

@autumnlove: well, they are new...tags still on and everything. And Freestyle are $19-$20 in stores on a regular day. So I kind of figure..people can save coupons and buy 1 here and 1 there to save money, or they can buy 15 all at once from me and be done.
I guess in these things, the market decides what it pays--but I would just keep them and see if I want to try them with LO #2 rather than let them go for a lowball price.
