Did you have head shots or personalized photo shoot type picture?
I just had the regular head shot with that black v-neck drape and cap and gown head shot.
I think here in the Seattle area, it's normal to go to a photographer and have a personalized photoshoot.

I had just a upper body shot in a few of poses (just me, holding a diploma, holding some roses). It was done by my highschool.

We had personalized picture... We each had like a column in the year book w/ pictures and blurb. Students in the photography class would get paired up w/ us to take our pictures. It was pretty cool!

We did both! And both seemed to be the norm. We all swapped "baseball cards" of our personalized photos and hung them up in our lockers or in our rooms at home. It was the cool thing to do. haha

I had a photos hoot and we passed out wallets to everyone. It was what everyone did, I never had the black V-neck look

All students took a yearly photo at the beginning of the year, but Seniors were expected to get their own professional headshot done. If someone didn't want to, they could request to use their original photo though. Speaking as a former yearbook editor, it was a PITA to collect them from everyone

We had the posed shots....some with that black drapey gown thing and others in our graduation cap/gown.

Our school set up the shots and they were both the Vneck drape thing, and then one of you in regular clothes. The yearbook used the drape ones.

If we had the drapes I didn't order those. I took mine in a blue sweater. I just looked at them and I'm fairly sure that's when I peaked, haha.

We did the drapey kind. And for some reason my mom ordered a really large print. We always joke about my massive head that's bigger than my actual head. I don't know why she bought it, but it's given us all lots of laughs over the years haha.

My school didn't do the drapey kind. They had a photographer with whom you had to book an independent session. You could buy options or not, but you at least had to take one for the yearbook.

I had professional shots done (I think there might have been a studio we had to use?). I think I had 2-3 outfits but I believe they were all waist up. We totally handed out those wallets that said your name and year on them. They gave us little mini photo books (like pocket size) and you filled them up with all your friends! I still like how they turned out. I was so young then
