@babycanuck: I either discard the temps but note them on my chart as comments or sometimes (not ideal) I average the two temps/times because I hate having a blank spot on my chart!

After two +OPKs on Saturday and Sunday, I've been waiting for a temp rise and it's not really happening. We're going to BD again tonight just in case. I'm really hoping the temp goes up tomorrow morning...

I'm calling September my Blue Moon month. I'm usually 28 days so if I POAS on the 1st or 2nd with a BFN I have another chance at the end of the month lol

@littlek: I hope so too (as I always do!) but this is getting so discouraging and annoying at times =/

@NorCalWayfarer: I give your DH an "A+" for the effort. Driving commutes are not fun. At least he will have something fun to think about on the drive to and from!!

Waiting not so patiently to O over here... I'm getting nervous that it is not going to happen for some reason, even though it's still early.

    nectarine / 2134 posts

@MrsMcD: Oh man I felt sooo bad for him yesterday. Up at 4am to work, commute into the office, then he had to come get me (2hrs away) because I didn't have a car. I let him sleep on the ride home so he'd be refreshed for our late night BD sesh I think he's just ready to get a sticky baby so we don't have to stress about scheduling BD in the midst of our crazy commutes/work schedules!

@NorCalWayfarer: Your poor DH. I'm so loving him though for all the effort he is giving you.

  16. NorCalWayfarer

    nectarine / 2134 posts

@MrsMcD: Hahahah he keeps reminding me it's "prime time" so we need to make sure to see each other every night! I'm kind of surprised because up to this point he had seemed pretty relaxed about it. But we've had two friends/family members announce their pregnancy this past week so maybe he's getting in the competitive mode! I'll take whatever I can get!

@Sprite: Just curious what progestrone cream you will be using?

  28. Sprite

    kiwi / 693 posts

@FaithFertility: It is Emerita Pro-Gest, from Whole Foods. I can't remember who, but someone on here recommended it on an old thread that I found from searching the archives.

FX your IUI did the trick!

  29. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@Sprite: Thank you! !!!! ahhhh I see, I was hoping it was Crinone..... so we could share how nasty it is....lol

  30. Sprite

    kiwi / 693 posts

@FaithFertility: LOL, sorry girl. The stuff I'm using isn't nasty at all, kind of just smells like cheap hotel lotion. Now, the herbal supplements my fertility acupuncturist sent me home with today, those are another story. They smell disgusting!

  31. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@Sprite: hahah no this is inserted vaginally and is chunky, like cottage cheese.....lol sorry TMI

@LindsayInNY: Oh my gosh - I have averaged before too. There's something about the blank space that drives me bonkers?? FX you get a spike tomorrow. The BD storm and waiting for the spike is exhausting.

@faithfertility Glad to hear your IUI went so well! Hopefully it will have good results. I think I would be really nervous for that too, so it's nice to hear that you had a good experience.

@norcalwayfarer I think your DH deserves to be HB-DH of the week!!!

@cookie_dough: I feel your pain on LOs being up at night! Mine is older than yours but had a rough patch two weeks ago and I was up all the time. My temps were all over the place...hoping things are calmer this time as we are actually trying!

Are you nursing at all? We are still at twice a day and I am curious to see how/if it affects my chart...

  35. anandam

    kiwi / 687 posts

@babycanuck: all my temps are whatever hour the cat wakes me up! Totally get this problem. Was the second one higher? I generally think the first temp is more accurate, I just use the temp when I wake up the first time, as long as I'd been asleep a few hours. Don't even recheck when I actually rise for the day later on. Once I wake up my temp rises significantly, even if I go back to sleep for hours.

I'm about 1wk post-O now and have been having all sort of interesting little feelings! Not sure if they're half-imagined, but lots of twinges and pinches down in my netherregion, superthirst, sneezing up a storm, and even some mild nausea if I go too long without eating...

But today I started having some mild AF-like cramps which was sort of a bummer. I tried to give a pep-talk to whatever possible little somebody might be down there, saying "hold on tight! I believe in you!" but it's such a weird time, this TWW.

My first time going through it, though. I can't imagine how neurotic I'll become overanalyzing every sensation if this goes on for longer than a few months! I have greater respect for all of you patient women, now!

p.s. I went ahead and uploaded my chart since it seems like that's how most sharing is happening - http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/anandam

Fertility Friend gave me dotted crosshairs that I O'd CD11! I am very skeptical of this... is it even possible to O that early with Clomid? I'm going to keep up the BDing.

Also I've had the same temp 3 days in a row which is new to me.
