@yellowbeach: How is your CBEAD reading? Did you ever get your Peak read so you could BD? I know you have a transfer on the 8th, so I suppose it wouldn't matter, but curiosity is killing the cat (* Not my perpetual Schrodinger's cat either. π€£).

@Kaohinani: I am having one of my worst periods ever it better clear everything out and give femara the perfect environment!
I'm hoping our weird bleeds from our wonky months gets both of us our September positives.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: Aw, I'm sorry to read it is so bad! Maybe Femara will be the magic ticket for you!
I'm hoping Sept is
lucky for both of us as well! IDK how much longer I'm going to be able to continue TTC.

Entertaining mom moment of the day...
A lady walked up to me in Hy-Vee and pulled a fruit snack off my back π€¦ββοΈ

@Kaohinani: My CBEADs are still reading HIGH, not yet at peak. Thinking either tomorrow or Monday might be the day. As weird as it sounds, we aren't going to BD because we are deathly afraid of conceiving naturally and the possibility of having chromosomal abnormalities. I'm not sure I could survive another TFMR (even though I know some women who have)... so waiting for me to OV is more of determining when my uterus is most hospitable and sticking the frozen (they thaw it) embryo in there at just the right time.
Interestingly, my RE did say he had a couple who had fraternal twins after transferring just one embryo. Turns out they had BDed just before their transfer, gotten pregnant that way, and then the frozen embryo also stuck.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: I absolutely understand your concern. It must have been such a heart wrenching situation for you and your DH.
On a happier note - What a cool story about the twins! I would love to have fraternal twins (twins run on my dad's side)... especially, if I were able to go about it that way.

π€£ That is the epitome of a "Mom Moment." Love it!

AND ... the afternoon LH strip looks like THIS:
(*scratches head* π€)
So either I'm "almost" to a full surge or I missed it late last night and should have BD yesterday. We did this morning and I'm going to see if I can persuade DH to DTD tonight as well. Tomorrow and the next day is mandatory. Lol.

Well, my crazy Uncle told me I was pregnant today... Maybe he's right this month π€·ββοΈ

@Kaohinani: ahh thatβs so confusing! Since itβs so early, I wonder whether your body is gearing up to O but wonβt until later?! Good thing you snuck a couple BDβs in there just in case!
I got my IUD out Wednesday and Iβm still spotting quite a bit. I asked the doctor if Iβd bleed for a few days and sheβs like βno! Not even!β but today is day 4 of heavy spotting. Sigh.
When should I start OPKs? I *think* Iβm CD8 today but really I have no clue!

I haven't commented much but I'm reading along Didn't get a chance to try a FRER, AF showed up this morning with a vengeance, and still no idea when/if I ov'd. Could I please be added to Sept 29 for next POAS attempt.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: Let's hope so! If my cat know when I'm pregnant before I do, maybe your crazy uncle has similar spidey senses
@Umberto: Bummer about AF but I like that you get 2 tried for Sept POAS
Still no peak OPK for me yet. Just got home from work (4:30am) - I'm wondering what first morning urine is when I'm going to bed at 5:30am - maybe I should have tested what I just let go of? Who knows. Figure I'll wake up at 7am when DD wakes up and test whatever I can put out.

@QBbride: @Sam's Mom:
LOL. I have a feeling that this entire cycle is going to be a crap shoot. I took an OPK last night and hit my surge according to SMILEREADER (see picture of screenshot). I took another CBEAD this morning (I have, like, 5 monitors after buying so many d#mn packages! ) and it was "LOW." Four hours later I took another OPK and it is a BLAZING + (see affixed photo). So, IDK about CBEAD at this point, OR how long my surge is (it normally only rides 6-12 hours), OR if this will lead to actual OV in the end as only my BBT will tell, BUT I can say that the bleed ceased today (YIPPEE!!!!
). Feeling confused but better.

@yellowbeach: maybe his stroke rewired him enough that he can tell. I had never seen this mean drink anything but coffee or Coors light in my whole life and he always had a dip in. After his stroke he told us beer and chew are gross... So if it can rewire him out of alcoholism, maybe it gave him Spidey senses on pregnancy too.

@Sams Mom: If he is correct, he could start making supplemental funds using his talents! Women all over the world would be using his "spidey-pregger-senses" instead of investing in HPTs and induring the dreaded TWW! Hey, you may be even able to cash in as his manager!

@Kaohinani: Have you been using the CBE Advanced every day? If you haven't used one within the last ~48 hours, the first one you take will always read "low". Part of the "Advanced" is that it compares change over time. To get the CBE Advanced to work best, you have to start taking them at least 4-5 days before peak and take them with FMU every day. Once you get "high" you can add or switch to afternoon/evening.

@lilyofthewest: Thank you. The CBEAD monitor I usually use (3 cycles of use so far) with FMU went from Low to Peak in 2 days so I used the one I had been using BEFORE the one I currently use just to validate the efficacy and legitimacy of my surge and testing. Since I could not use the one that is still reading at "PEAK" (48 hours of solid smiley goodness there. ), I had to use an older one from 4 cycles back. I was unaware , though, that every first day read would be a "Low." Maybe I AM still, indeed, surging?!
Thank you so much for the information.

Hpt lighter today, I donβt think the amount of hcg would turn an opk positive, but who knows. We dtd yesterday, but (tmi) I didnβt even have dh finish inside, so really not trying. I just like knowing whatβs going on with me!
I guess Iβm as obsessed with seeing the line get lighter as I am with seeing it get darker. Either way, hopefully we can try really soon!

@Kaohinani: so frustrating. Iβm a little but I. The same boat in that Iβm seeing almost nothing on my Wondfo OPKs but have been getting HIGH on CBEAD for at least 4-5 days now. π€·ββοΈ

@Kaohinani: Of course not - thanks for updating! We've been potty training all weekend so haven't been on here

I think we hit O-5, O-1, and O based on OPKs... I got a positive Thursday and no temp shift yet so I'm guessing I ovulated yesterday. Hopefully my temp goes up tonight!
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@LAZB: So exciting that that HCG is going down. Perhaps, you will have a chance to actually OV soon and will have a sticky BFP soon!
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: Tell me about it! Uber frustrating!!! I JUST tested 10 minutes ago and it was fainter than the last few OPKs and my SMILEREADER app told me I'm "Ovulating" today and to get to DTD. Soooo, I guess I'm finally on the downswing. IDK. This has been so confusing with the CP, the bleeding, the decreasing HPT, the constant PEAK OPKs. I give up. π€£
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@skinnycow: Oh, I hope you get your BFP this cycle! You seem to have hit most of the important days for BD. As for the potty training, we have been doing it for a year. My son was 90% trained (no night training) and then we had a full house of company during the last hurricane to hit FL. No bathrooms were ever available for him and he wouldn't use his training potty. Backtracked completely. We started over. 60% trained. Then we moved. Back to ground zero. Started again. Mostly trained again. Family was over recently and the house filled to capacity AND G NOW ABSOLUTELY refused his potty or the big toilets. We are back to square one. He is busting out of size 6 Honest diapers, wets his bed at night, and soaks their training pants because he won't go. When I'm not training clients or teaching an English course, I'm figuring out potty training techniques for a stubborn little bugger!!! Lol. I TOTALLY get your struggle.

@Kaohinani: Oh no - that sounds like quite the potty training adventure Things have been going okay so far but it's super tiring watching her like a hawk all day!

Iβm having O pains so I took an OPK. Not quite positive I think? I think Iβm CD8 today so seems really early still. What do you think?
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@QBbride: Wow, that is pretty close! Looks like you may get your surge on CD 9 as well and OV on CD 10 0r 11! Good luck

Incidentally, What is it with the early OVs this month?

So it usually takes until my second day of Clomid to get hot flashes, well I'm 3 hours post dose 1 of femara 2.5 and dear Lord I am sweating up a storm... While sewing in a basement that is probably 69-70Β°
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: What are you working on? I used to enjoy sewing but I haven't made anything in eons (since med school) because I just never seem to have enough time to start and finish something in the same session. Used to quilt a lot.

@yellowbeach: I'm finishing up a preemie shirt for a charity I sew for. They're fast little projects, and I get to but cute fabric to boot
This one is for a little girl that is 3 lbs 12 oz, mom requested deer or flowers.

CBEAD is still only reading high, and my Wondfo show a whole lot of nothing. Unless I miraculously get a peak in the AM, Iβll go in for an US at 9 am before work to see where things are.
Also, FF is telling me my BBT times are erratic and too far apart (should ideally be the same time every morning) but thatβs just not possible for me. This morning I went to bed at 6am and woke up at noon. My work schedule just varies so much. Is it better to just leave the data out on days when itβs not close to time?
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: Aww - I love that you do that. DD received one from a lovely company called Gracie's Gowns. They make them for premies and/or kids who have chronic diseases and spend a fair amount of time in the hospital. We love ours. Thanks for what you do.

I always put that I took them at the same time as long as I got 4+ hours of sleep. I usually end up with pretty normal looking charts

@yellowbeach: awww, I sew for 25 & 4 (her son was born at 25w4d and she couldn't find any clothes to put on him obviously so her mom helped her make these). I've sewn for as small as a 1 lb baby and all the way up to a 13 lb baby that was on his second I think heart surgery.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: FF can be fickle. If I can't wake with 30 minutes (earlier or later) of my set BBT time, I do one of 2 things: (1) if it is an hour or so earlier (3:30 or 4 am), I mark it and disregard FF's notations; however, (2) if we are traveling or my schedule takes a nosedive (company, sick kids, up at night grading papers, etc), I temp AFTER the longest sleep I have had (3-4 hours) and mark as 5 am. Scenario 2 does not happen all too often with me, but, in marking using said manner, the variation is slight and FF is less apt to "nag" me.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: You always do such lovely work. I'm still absolutely jealous as sewing on a machine is not one of my talents.
