@kaohinani @samsmom @QBBride @LazB @starlitsky : Thanks! Really crossing my fingers for a good transfer.
@2MamaKrewe: It ainβt over until AF arrives! Still holding out hope for you.
So I just took my trigger shot and ordered more Wondfo HcGs off of Amazon since Iβm going to be doing a lot more POASing to test out this trigger. Even though we are pushing our transfer date back a day, I think Iβll still POAS on 9/15. I doubt Iβm going to have the willpower to wait at all anyway and will probably just test continually from 9/8-9/15.

Nothing much to report here.
Mildly concerned that I'm not ovulating or something because last cycle I never got a positive opk despite testing twice a day from CD8. This cycle DH is away for work CD17-19 so I hope O comes before that!
I don't know much about TTC beyond the basics, so reading about triggers and transfers etc from other posters is actually really interesting!

@QBbride: @starlitsky: Thank you.
@yellowbeach: Exciting news! Good luck!
It's 6 dpo today. My temp has been in a slow decline for the past two days, but I'm not worried. It's way too early even for me to get close to AF. I'm pretty sure the temp will be back up in the next few days.
In other news, I'm pretty sure my breasts are actually made of fire this month and I have had two dreams in the past few days where I have a baby girl. It's not unusual for me to see children, but they are never mine. I just babysit or something. This time she was definitely mine.

Reposted the list since it's been awhile
Sorry for vanishing - we used the long weekend to potty train my daughter so I wasn't really on my phone!

@skinnycow @paranundrum: I'm happy to have a few of us on the same day for POAS

@paranundrum: ohh so cool about your dream! Hopefully it means something!
@skinnycow: thanks for updating the list! How did potty training go?

@QBbride: It went really well. My daughter caught on quickly but hopefully daycare doesn't mess up her groove today!
@yellowbeach: Yes! Now we just need the next 11 days to fly by!

I'm thinking I ovulated Saturday but I never get a super clear temp shift... what do you guys think?
And yes I track with my Ava and on fertility friend because I'm crazy
clementine / 811 posts
@yellowbeach: It is cool, but I probably will have to leave you and @skinnycow: and test (or not if I start spotting of the temps drop) a few days earlier. FF says I should test on 12th instead as O was three days before expected this cycle.
@QBbride: I hope so too.

@skinnycow: I would say CD 15 or 16 depending on how your next couple days look.

@Kaohinani: Aww thanks for checking in!
Things are good. We were away for the long weekend so getting back into the groove this morning. I might have gotten a cold though, have a sore throat and cough. But I'm temping and clearly don't have a fever.
I'm currently on CD 10 and expected to ovulate either on 9/8 or 9/11 according to FF and Glow, so I'll def be doing OPKs and temping to see when I actually ovulate (first cycle after chemical). Hopefully heading into my fertile period this week!
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@skinnycow: You will probably get your crosshairs tomorrow on FF. That should give you a "definitive" OV date to compare with you AVA stats. (* It looks like you plot your skin temperatures into FF rather than taking a seperate oral or vaginal BBT or adjusting them ... am I correct?)
I appreciate that you are as TTC crazy as I ... I plot info on FF, Smilereader, and Ovia for consistency's sake.
P.S. I'm thrilled potty training has gone so well for you. My DD was so easy to train ... DS is so easy with everything else but has been a nightmare in the realm of potty training.

@paranundrum: Your dream was awesome! I hope it is a foreboding dream (6th sense) that a sticky BFP is in your immediate future!!!

@SupernovaJ: The 8th is coming up quickly! Good luck this cycle! π€

@starlitsky: You might be right- I'm still testing and the opk was darker today.

So either my left ovary already hurts because A) 2 days of femara, B) I might have pulled a muscle in the same area? or C) there is something else wrong with my kidney or ovary.
And my period decided to ramp up for another day after just spotting yesterday. ughhhhh
@paranundrum: Hopefully your dream is a good indicator you'll get your BFP this month!
@skinnycow: I should have taken the long weekend to do a potty boot camp, but noooo I didn't and so we're still in potty purgatory.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@LAZB: Yea, I usually get the one extreme or the other. All the side effects or I metabolize it really fast and it doesn't have lasting effects.
I totally had a breakdown last night because my blood pressure has been up at my last 2 appointments, and my doctor and his nurse told me I need to try to focus on other stuff (really hard for me to let go of things). So I told my husband if I'm not pregnant in 6 months (date might be negotiable depending on how I fare), I just want my tubes tied because then it's done and over and no what ifs and constant hoping.
Now I don't know that that is what I really want, but I know I need to set a hard line for myself because I can't just take a relaxed approach... I'm all in or I'm out.
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@Sams Mom: I can totally understand that, Iβm the same way. I donβt know at which point Iβll call it, but I canβt just see what happens (as evidenced by all my pee sticks and constant questions). It did feel nice the other day to just have sex with my husband and not actually try, even though I thought I might be ovulating. I was like βf*%# you body, I do what I want!β
Of course when Iβm actually sure of ovulation Iβm going to come cowering back, but for now it feels good lol
pomegranate / 3904 posts
Speaking of pee sticks, my test this morning was a squinter, so hopefully back to negative by when I get my blood test Thursday.

@LAZB: Isn't it a freakish feeling to look at a BFN or a diminishing + on a HPT with relief after craving a sticky BFP for soooooooo long!?!?! π€£ I had been doing that all this past week (while POAS OPKs and praying they kept getting darker!!! π) as well!
Anyway, that HPT looks great. The HCG is nearly out of your system. Now, when you are ready, onto that BFP.

@Kaohinani: itβs super weird! But I really just want to move forward, two losses in a row was rough, third time has to be a charm, right?
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@LAZB: Exactly! I would like to just say F it and be able to go with the flow, but it is not in my wiring.
persimmon / 1141 posts
@Sams Mom: I hear you on not potty training over the long weekend. My son is "sorta" potty training at the moment. It's just so hard for me to commit boot camp style.
So sorry about the long TTC journey. I know it must be so hard... I tried for one month and failed and that was difficult (which admittedly is nothing). It's hard to focus on other things...I had to force myself otherwise the time would go by SO slow...It was nice to get away this weekend. I always feel like parenting goes by SO fast, but when you're TTC each day is painfully slow. Lol.
My good friends were TTC for a third and gave themselves about 8-10 months of trying. When it didn't happen, her husband got a vasectomy. I question how long I would pursue #3 quite often. While I'm very stubborn and never want to be in that situation, a part of me feels like I'd have to close the window on #3 not happening just so I could move on and feel free from it. But who knows until I'm in that situation.
I hope September is full of BFPs!

@Sams Mom: @SupernovaJ: We were the same way until this weekend. DD was "semi-potty trained" in the sense that she could go on the potty but we still had her in diapers. This weekend really sucked because we had to keep our eyes on her at all times! She did really well but no idea if it will stick.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@SupernovaJ: @skinnycow: Yea, my son will go on the potty most of the time when you ask him, but very rarely takes the initiative. He has only pooped once in the potty, so I have no idea how far off that one is.
@SupernovaJ: Our son was a oops baby, I miscounted where I was in my cycle after having a weird cycle the month before and pull & pray failed us for the first time in like 3 1/2 years. So now that we are trying, and it's taking so long... Well it's disheartening. I am high strung (I know big surprise to anyone that's been on here very long), and obsessive about anything I am interested in (read if I'm doing it I'm going to over do it)... So the fact that I understand what it takes, yet I can't make it work on will power and timing sucks hard.
I don't want to quit, but I just know that I have to draw a hardline somewhere for my sanity and my family.
persimmon / 1141 posts
@Sams Mom: That totally resonates with me about being obsessive and all in (in general), and calculating things to every last painful detail but not being able to make it happen.
@Sams Mom: @skinnycow: Potty training seems to be going pretty well for you though. I just can't get past the resistance... like UGH! They resist everything so much already... eating, brushing their teeth, getting dressed in the AMs etc. It's just one more thing that will be physically exhausting but that's very encouraging! Maybe we'll just commit this weekend....
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@skinnycow: @sams mom: @supernovaj:
After supper I was catching up - I can sympathize and empathize on all counts. After 34 cycles, I just WANT (read as NEED) a sticky BFP. I HAD set a cutoff date but abandoned it as (1) I know no different than TTC at this point (it is stressful but it is comforting as well.) #CompleteInsanity (2) I keep hoping if I put it off, I'll be blessed with a #3. #Disillussioned?
I also have a 3.5 year old (boy) that just cannot/WILL NOT be tamed to the toilet god. Every visit from family seems to set him back ... every trip we take ... every EVERYTHING. I'm soooooooo over it. Potty training is not for wimps or for the faint of heart! P.S. My daughter was SO much easier (trained at 2)!
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: thank you, even if I sound like a wiener. I've also successfully put off stopping because I thought I was done after 6 rounds of Clomid; but have now weaseled my doctor for 3 rounds of femara. But I also know I need to set a hard stop... Eventually
As to potty training, it drives me crazy because some days he'll disappear and come back naked from the waist down with a barely wet pull-up in hand saying eww yuck, other days he'll tell me he needs to go, and other days he'll stay in the same pull-up until I catch that he's peed a lot in it and never once told me eww yuck

Hi ladies! Really hoping Sept is a lucky month for lots of us especially those who have been around for awhile
I just took an OPK and it was negative today, so I think I probably Oβd yesterday or today? Iβm bad with chart interpretations since I donβt temp (yet). If I put Monday as the positive it says I Oβd today, if I put Sunday too (not sure if it was quite positive or not), then I said I Oβd yesterday. We got two BDs in but I canβt imagine an egg is mature enough on CD9-10 sooo... π€·ββοΈ
ETA: oops that should say sept 4 PM for the last OPK
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@QBbride: I would say you surged sometime yesterday morning or afternoon based on the dry comparison. Hopefully you got a good egg out of it! Fingers crossed for you
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: LOL. G now wakes and takes off his nighttime diaper. As of late, I find him nude and calling for me in his speech-impeded toddler-speak EVERY. SiNGLE. MORNING. He is oh, so, proud standing there in his G_D given glory. However, he absolutely refuses to sit on HIS potty OR use "the big potty" or even pee on a Cheerio in the mini standup... too busy playing. We have set timers, showed him how to do it (both daddy and myself), bought potty watches, read books, watched movies, given him treats and stickers for success... this kid just isn't interested and backtracks after every success. It was easier to train our puppies!!! π€£ I figure he will learn on his own time. There is no question on a college entrance examination on when one was potty trained (or moved into a toddler bed, etc), so in the scope of what REALLY matters in life, potty training is only a frustration to me and not a huge setback in life for G.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@QBbride: I think you OVed yesterday, hun. Hope you were able to get some good BD-ing in! As for a mature egg, an OV on CD 10 or 11 is adequate for a mature ovum... any earlier may be a bit questionable. Good luck!
pomegranate / 3192 posts
Thanks ladies! I appreciate your wisdom. Seems verrrrry unlikely this cycle will be successful then, since I think it was CD9 although I donβt know for sure since I never really had a period with my Mirena. Sigh.
Iβll move my POAS date to Sept 14 then please (no rush!)
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Kaohinani: When do the "crosshairs" you referenced (assuming that's the vertical and horizontal like dividing your phases) appear in FF? Do you have to add them? Do there appear after a magic time? If I don't have a temp spike, will they ever appear?
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@yellowbeach: they appear after ovulation is confirmed with 3 days of elevated temps.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: So with my erratic temps then, I'm guessing it probably just won't show this cycle.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@yellowbeach: if your ovulation detection setting is "advanced" probably not, but you can set it off of OPKs or monitoring (I think that's ultrasounds like you're doing) and then it will give crosshairs by that data
