I have been reading along. Good luck to those of you who are starting the 2 week wait.

AF was due today and hasn't shown yet. I took a pregnancy test and I think I see a very faint line. Of course, I took it after drinking a lot. I may have just ovulated later than I thought. I had dark OPKs from Thursday to Sunday. I'll test again in the morning.

For those who want to try a squinter, I've attached a picture.

@Mrs. Toad: I'm terrible with blue dyes, but I definitely see something!

Late to the party, but jumping in...

    Cycle day: 3
TTC Cycle: I’m gonna say 1 because it’s the first since our most recent loss, but we’ve had 2 losses in the past year, and really started trying for our first child in September last year.
    Ovulation date: Sept 14ish
POAS date: Sept 29 (also DH and my anniversary!)
    Baby number: 1

Fingers crossed for everyone, and I’m looking forward to seeing some positives, and hopefully staying optimistic after a tough year.

    @yellowbeach: good! Glad I could help 😁

@Mrs. Toad: I definitely see what you're talking about, make sure to share your test in the morning!

@karenbme: glad to see you on the boards again, good luck this month!

So my son slipped on the sheet while climbing into bed and busted his head on the platform ledge. Minimal blood, lots of screaming and crying, a Mickey mouse bandaid, and some Motrin... And we're finally settled in for the night 😬

@Mrs. Toad: I feel like I see something too! I’m really bad with blue dye tests! Do you have any FRERs?? Good luck! Can’t wait for your update!

    @Kaohinani: @Sams Mom: I'm hoping I'm clairvoyant too.

@Mrs. Toad: Hoping to see a stronger positive soon!

I'm 7 dpo today. Woah, we're half way there! My temp went back up as I knew it would. No symptoms to speak of other than my preceding fireboob issue.

@paranundrum: Everything looks and sounds so very promising on your end! 🤞😁 I'm hoping to see that BFP! 😉

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Mrs. Toad: Wow! It is super-duper faint, but it is there! I believe the test you are using is a 25 miu HPT as well. Perhaps, try a red dye (they show better) 10 miu test or a FRER (6.5 miu)? I can't wait until I see a "positive" Positive. 🤞👏😉😁

@karenbme: It's only a few days into September ... You're not late, we are just a chatty group and began the board early. 😉 Welcome, and best of luck this month!

@yellowbeach: I'm glad Sam's Mom was on to respond to your inquiry on FF crosshairs... I'm an "early to bed (9/10 PM) and early to rise (4/5 am)" kinda girl so I miss out on all of the night chit-chat. I try to catch up the next day in the morning and between clients, class, and spending time with my family. 😧🤣 Anyway, I can't wait to hear about how your transfer goes!

So, I'm pretty stoked. With what I went through the end of August (* the thing that shall not be named. 😪) and the start of this month, I wasn't certain if ovulation would EVEN be possible. It appears I DID OV (which is AWESOME!) &, while I wish more than anything to receive my BFP this month as TTC has been such a long and laborious journey thus far, I must state that (for the moment), I am just simply glad to have had an ovulatory cycle! #FindingHappinessInTheSmallStuff

    I’m going to jump in!

    Cycle Day 33
    TTC: 1
    Ovulation Date: sometime in august
    POAS Date: all day yesterday
    Baby # 2

My period is “2 days” late. I am irregular and have PCOS but it’s been regular since June. We aren’t really trying but also not preventing. I was aware last month though and speculate pregnancy but the test are all negative. They were expired easy at home tests though🤔. Should I wait longer and then go buy first response etc?!?!

I know we aren’t technically trying but I also don’t want to get my hopes up! Sorry I sound conflicting!

    Good luck to everyone!!!!

@cake2017: Welcome to the POAS board! FWIW, I would wait 2-3 days and test with a FRER (6.5 miu) or a 10 miu internet cheapie (like SurePredict or One Step clinical). It takes 2-3 days for HCG to build in the system after implantation, and depending on if one's numbers double on a 48 or 72 hour schedule, it may take an additional 2-3 days for enough HCG to become present in the urine and generate a BFP on a HPT. Fingers crossed 🤞 that you get your HPT.

@karenbme: welcome and good luck this cycle!

@cake2017: welcome!! Hmm I would buy FRER and test again tomorrow or in a couple of days! Good luck!!!

@Mrs. Toad: ooh can’t wait for your update today!!

@Sams Mom: oh no, sorry to hear about your son hitting his head! Hopefully he’s ok!! Mine threw a tantrum last night bc he didn’t want to eat his dinner. 🙄

@paranundrum: @Kaohinani: your charts look great!!

Mine looked good until today when it had a slight dip but not a huge one (but now I’m looking at my chart and thinking it is a huge one? 😝). Tomorrow will be more telling I think. I tested today at 10dpo using wondfo and bfn.

@paranundrum: I would love for you & I (and, OF COURSE, Sam's Mom, Jessie, Yellowbeach, Lazb, Skinny, Starlit, Supernova, Magnolia, and the rest of the ladies) to join MamaBear on the May (and June!) board. I can't wait to start seeing some more beautiful BFPs!

  21. karenbme

    persimmon / 1419 posts

    @skinnycow: @Sams Mom: @Kaohinani: Thanks, ladies!

@cake2017: Unless you know when you oved, it’s really hard to know! I’ve always been super regular, but like 3 times in my life I’ve been a week late and not pregnant. In each of those cases I tested and got negatives after I was late. If it’ll give you peace of mind, get a more sensitive test, but sometimes all you can do is wait (which I know is super hard).

  22. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@starlitsky: What DPO are you, starlit? It looks like CD 36/DPO 10 but I may be reading your chart incorrectly. Could it be the ever-exciting "implantation dip?" I can't wait to see tomorrow's temp.

  23. karenbme

    persimmon / 1419 posts

@starlitsky: Thanks, and 10dpo is really early to test. Hopefully your temp will be back up tomorrow!

  24. starlitsky

    clementine / 795 posts

@Kaohinani: I’m 10dpo today! I was wondering if it could be an implantation dip too but my LP is usually 10-11 days so it might be too late. if it’s not my month, I’ll either start spotting today or my temp will drop further tomorrow. I will keep you ladies posted!

  25. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@starlitsky: Keep positive. 10 DPO is fairly early for testing. A 10-day luteal phase is pretty short with the average being 12-14 days; however, your cycle this month may have extended to a 12-day luteal (Yay!) OR you may be on your way to a BFP. F'x 🤞 😉

  26. starlitsky

    clementine / 795 posts

@karenbme: thank you!!! I know 10dpo is still early but I was hoping for a vvvfl. 😂 We’ll see what happens tomorrow with my temp! Usually I’ll dip to high 96s on the day AF starts.

  27. starlitsky

    clementine / 795 posts

@Kaohinani: thank you! That gives me a bit of hope.

And thank you as always for your positive attitude and support for everyone on this board!! Hoping to see a lot of BFPs for all of us this month!

  28. LAZB

    pomegranate / 3904 posts

I didn’t take a wondfo this morning, but since yesterday’s was such a squinter I think it’s be negative, I can try with smu. I did however take an opk, looks positive still, so do I torture myself and actually ttc before af?

  29. skinnycow

    pear / 1728 posts

No cross hairs today My chart is so weird this month! My post-AF temps were much higher than usual so I think that's throwing FF off.

  30. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@LAZB: Why not? Come toss your hat in the ring and join the crazy this month! 😉 If you DO decide to go for it, I'm rooting for you! 👏🙂

  31. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@skinnycow: Wow, those are some odd temps. They had a downward trend and are low, but it appears that your post LH surge jump can't break the coverline quick enough. Perhaps, give it a few more days of BBTs for FF to register the data and give you an OV date and, in the meantime, keep BD-ing every other day just in case you had a surge but never actually OVed. It "kinda" looks like you OVed on CD 16 and need another temp (or 2) for a full shift to verify. Hopefully, you get your answer soon. 🧡

  32. LAZB

    pomegranate / 3904 posts

@Kaohinani: I’m just not sure if it’s worth actually trying because it could just be false positive OPK‘s. My doctor made it seem like I wouldn’t be Ovulating until after af.
It looks like I do still have a squinter on my hpt, so annoying

@Sams Mom: @Kaohinani: Literally crying as I read about your sons' potty training tales!!! LOL. My son decided he wanted to pee on the training toilet last night unprompted. Then this morning he had a dry diaper and we tried to get him to sit on the potty. He resisted and 5 minutes later had a full diaper. I really cannot...

@karenbme: Welcome!! So glad you've joined this fun board. August was a rough month for us but I'm feeling really good about September!! BEST of luck to you.

  37. skinnycow

    pear / 1728 posts

@Kaohinani: I know - it's so annoying! I'm frustrated with the weird charts. My cycle used to be like clockwork and it's been messed up ever since I had a MC.

I also got a positive OPK on CD12 and all others I've taken since have been negative so my temps make no sense.

  38. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@SupernovaJ: I feel you on that one! My son wakes up dry, fights sitting on the potty and the pees in his pull-up within 5 minutes.

Ladies, I nearly lost my SH#T and flipped out on some ignorant, nasty, pregnant woman. First of all, you all know (from the POAS boards) that I am one of the most NONconfrontational people in this world... I would rather not offend and agree to disagree and move on than rustle feathers.
ANYWAY, I took my son out for a quick haircut and, while waiting, there is a young woman who is hugely pregnant. My first thought was, "Oh, she is absolutely adorable! Lucky Duck!" Well, she was holding a conversation with the stylist about her pregnancy (LOUDLY -- So loudly that one couldn't help but hear what she was speaking of) and I caught her saying, "I know, this definitely wasn't planned. In fact, I tried to get rid of it by falling down stairs, drinking, and all that stuff. But when he hung on, I figured I was meant to be pregnant so now I'm more ok with it." My D#MN ears began to burn and I felt tears in my eyes. I couldn't swallow. I wanted to strangle her. I said nothing. I understand surprise pregnancies and not being ready for a baby ... I get the million reasons why women get abortions ... I understand it was her feelings for her child; HOWEVER, to toss yourself around to spontaneously abort and to heavily drink (without a worry for fetal development "if" one doesn't lose the baby) is reckless and made me SO ANGRY especially as a women with infertility issues. Besides, WHO "brags" about this while in public!?!?!? Is she crazy!? I ignored her gaze the entire time I was at the salon but, boy, did I wish to give her a piece of my mind ... and maybe sock her in the nose as well! Rant over!
