    @SupernovaJ: yeah I think wanting it and actually having the energy are two different things my husband says he would never turn it down but he also doesnโ€™t initiate because he doesnโ€™t want to get rejected im usually the one who is too tired/lazy so I can empathize. I do think it was good for our relationship this summer, which Iโ€™m calling the best summer of my DHs life because of all this BDing...

    @Sams Mom: Last month was a Clomid cycle. I had the nipple tenderness but it was also accompanied with an achy and full feeling towards the sides. I had cramps right after O and had a bunch a chin-zits. Later in the cycle, I started craving acidic vinegar-based foods (eg sauerkraut, salt and vin chips, red wine and vinegar salad dressing, kimchee ...) and my stomach was bloating. Also, Pililani ๐Ÿถ wouldn't leave me to save her soul. Lol.

    I'm hoping no symptoms are a good sign BUT, of course, no symptoms could be just that: nothing. Either way, I feel awesome. ๐Ÿ˜

    @Kaohinani: That's great! I think I am crawling out of my period funk finally this month. I really am having no side effects aside from a couple hot flashes (not as bad as clomid for the most part), and my left ovary area hurts... But this is magical compared to the last few cycles.

    @Sams Mom: That is AWESOME to read! I've really been hoping that you could find something that would be kinder on your system. Hopefully, Femara is not only a more gentle way to go, but it is productive and you get your BFP! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜

    @Kaohinani: Me too! Now of course I am low key worried that since I'm not miserable it's not working... cause you know, crazyflakes over here.

    @Sams Mom: Hahahahaha! ๐Ÿคฃ
    I started thinking the same thing when looking back at old TTC and BBC charts during lunch and recognizing the trend that is non-existent this cycle! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Then, I thought how irrational I was being and shut myself down - quick.

    Had my blood work today and hcg is still at 17 hopefully next week it will be back to zero

  8. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @LAZB: That's a bummer! ๐Ÿ˜” Hmmm, I wonder at what number you'd be able to successfully ovulate. I only ask out of curiosity because I had low levels (with a nearly negative HPT) when I received my positive OPK and my temps have confirmed OV. Once again though, my situation was similar but, still, a bit different than yours due to duration, hcg numbers, and volume of "tissues." In any case, I'm really hoping your numbers decrease quickly and we see you OV this month! ๐Ÿ’œ

    @LAZB: Ugh that's the worst. Ticking down slowly towards zero. I can definitely appreciate your frustration. Just to warn you, I went from 26 -->17-->9-->Neg(<5) before it was totally gone. I sure how yours is gone by next week's check.

    @yellowbeach: itโ€™s crazy how fast the numbers fall initially, and then how sssllllllooooowwww they finish up

    My boobs hurt so bad! I'm only like 3 dpo so it's obviously just progesterone related but still!

    Morning ladies!
    @LAZB: sorry your HCG hasnt gone down faster

    Iโ€™ve having fertile CM and lots of cramping so maybe Iโ€™m ovulating now, which is when I was expecting to initially. Maybe those first OPKs were red herrings? Of course I stopped taking them and my husband has been super sick so no BDing for us. Might try to sneak the next couple days in just in case but looks like iโ€™ll be moving onto next month!!

  14. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @QBbride: If it makes you feel any better, (besides a slight headache) I'm having tons of CM as well (which is unusual as I have the autoimmune disease, Sjogren's syndrome, which dries out mucous membranes). I figured I'd try an OPK and my LH registered as a 0.5 or what I call an: "Oh, my, that is ungodly low and uber-negative!!!" ๐Ÿคฃ My point, you may have already OVed but patches of "fertile" CM can be seen throughout a cycle due to other hormonal fluctuations, especially increases in progesterone (or even in HCG). Keep an eye on it and keep bd-ing. G/L, hun!

    Good morning! AF arrived so Iโ€™m out for this month but I will be cheering you ladies on... hoping for lots of September BFPs for everyone here!

    @starlitsky: Oh, NO!!!! ๐Ÿ˜” I'm sorry, Starlit!
    Thank you for being a cheerleader, though. ๐Ÿ’™

    I'm sure everyone is dying for updates on my boobs, but they're still killing me. What the heck? They never hurt this bad. I was walking down some stairs at work this morning and they hurt from bouncing and I'm the opposite of well-endowed

    Must have lots of progesterone flowing this month!

    @skinnycow: Sore (_)(_)'s are the WORST! ๐Ÿ˜” Curse those stairs!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚

    I am living vicariously through all of y'all's symptoms because I feel like it's taking forever just to ovulate this cycle...

    @starlitsky: O no, that sucks! Best of luck on your next cycle.

    So Iโ€™m sure my charts mean nothing since I took a trigger shot and have a scheduled FET, but look at this temp spike! ๐Ÿค”

    @yellowbeach: Wow! That's a h#lluva spike! Isn't your FET tomorrow?! I'm so excited for you ... I hope everything goes perfectly. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜

    pomegranate / 3192 posts

    @starlitsky: sorry about AF!

    @skinnycow: hmm interesting about the boobs! Hoping itโ€™s a good sign.

    @Kaohinani: thanks! I always appreciate your feedback. Iโ€™m gonna try an OPK this afternoon just in case. I think I need to just accept that this cycle will be confusing.

    @yellowbeach: look at that beautiful temp spike!

    A good friend of mine just told me she is pregnant yesterday!! Due at the beginning of April. She just moved here (and I moved to this city about a year ago) and we both have two kids and her oldest and youngest are the same age as mine. Makes me excited we could be on maternity leave together! (And Canada extended their maternity leave to 18 months, which is amazing)

  29. yellowbeach

    nectarine / 2648 posts

    @QBbride: 18 months??? I am salivating. DH and I are seriously considering moving out of the US. My sister already lives in Italy with my 3 nieces x 3 years now. We just have to find somewhere that isn't an arduous process to get licensed (we are both physicians). How's Canada?

  30. QBbride

    pomegranate / 3192 posts

    @yellowbeach: ahh I actually donโ€™t think itโ€™s that difficult to get licensed as a physician! I donโ€™t know exactly how to do it but Iโ€™m a nurse and I work with lots of American physicians!

    And yes! 18 months. Itโ€™s the same pay as the previous 12 months but stretched over 18 months instead... but if I took 18 months, my youngest would be starting a kindergarten while I was on maternity leave and I could have a few months with just me and baby before going back to work!! Bliss.

  31. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @QBbride: My Pop-Pop is from Canada (Quebec, specifically) so I have family from over Canada (* Quebec City, Montreal, Prince George, Gatineau, and Montague on Prince Edward Island. ๐Ÿงก) ... Two of my cousins are pregnant and they have boasted the awesomeness of Canada's mother-and-child care specifically in reference to maternity leave. I am absolutely jealous!

  32. QBbride

    pomegranate / 3192 posts

    And because I like to torture myself apparently, do you think this could be positive? I wonder if itโ€™s just a bad batch of OPKs. Brand is Easy@home.

  33. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @QBbride: Super positive! Wow! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿค” Maybe you geared up to OV with a surge but never did the last time and THIS is the real deal! ๐Ÿ˜€ Go BD, lady! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ˜‰

    P.S. You could also check the serial # of the OPKs for recalls due to duds. Just an idea ...

  34. starlitsky

    clementine / 795 posts

    @QBbride: I am soooo envious of 18 months!! also I love canada and canadians! everyone is always so nice. as for your test, I think it looks like you'll be positive really soon so it doesn't hurt to start dtd now.

  35. skinnycow

    pear / 1728 posts

    I had a little bit of brown spotting in my CM just now. That's never been a good sign for me but we'll see ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

  36. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

    So mini rant:

    I feel like there should be a section in medical school where they go over something like "don't lead with cancer"!!!

    My husband had his follow up for his prostate today, and it's bigger than it was. They send him for a PSA & urine analysis to make sure it's not cancer. Like maybe say hey, based on the results from your PSA we will be able to determine what tests we need to do next. I know he has a family history of prostate cancer, but wait the hour and a half it takes the labs to do that bloodwork before saying cancer.

    That was the worst 90 minutes I've had in a very long time.

    But thank God he came in well below the normal levels (could still be cancerous technically, but only 25% of people with elevated numbers end up having cancer and even less with low numbers end up with it)... I googled a lot

  37. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @Sams Mom: Awe, hun, that is absolutely terrible!!!! ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜  I'm glad your DH seems to be fine; however, the amount of stress you both endured during that 90 minutes was unnecessary and frustrating (to say the least!) Have a nice glass of wine ๐Ÿท and decompress.

  38. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @skinnycow: What dpo are you? F'x ๐Ÿคž it's just due to hormones and not a precursor to AF (I loathe that witch! ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ)

  39. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

    @skinnycow: I'm with @Kaohinani: , depending on what dpo it might not be bad

  40. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

    @QBbride: that looks positive, and I haven't had issues with easy@homes. Maybe you geared up to O, then it didn't happen so you had to start over
