@AmeliaBedilia: dr said two cycles, but DH might need longer than that.
@LibbyLou: still spotting! But I don't need the pads anymore, which is great- I hate those things! D&c was two weeks ago today, so I'm really hoping this is the last of it. I'm going to take another pregnancy test in the morning and see what it looks like. Thanks for asking. ️ (And sorry about the TMI )

@Crystal: Hope you're at the end!
I got news that 2 more friends are KU (6 total in an 8week span!) so of courses became an eager beaver to try and join. POAS and obviously it's still early but small part of me was hoping to join them! Going to try and hold out til Wednesday to test. But when I have tests, I have to pee on them! It's an illness!!!!

@LibbyLou: Really wishing great news for you! I've been feeling a lot of jealousy towards my girlfriends who are pregnant. It's not fair that it was so easy for them and here I am.
I was in the TWW this past weekend and didn't really experience anything different. I did have dark cm on 8dpo but that could have been anything. My temp was a bit lower today but not by much.
@northstar @delight: how are you ladies feeling?

Well I had a bfn this morning, so I think that I'm going to stop my progesterone and let af come. I assume that it won't show up while I'm still taking the pill? Onto ivf, just not sure wheN. I'll let you know when I'm officially out

@NorthStar: Ughhh I'm so sorry. I cheated and POAS saturday at 8dpo and it was a BFN. I'm trying not to lose hope but it's hard.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@LoveHope: 8DPO is too early- implantation can happen after that.
persimmon / 1388 posts
As for me, I am 8dpo and just waiting for AF. I don't test anymore unless I am late. My LP usually is only 10 days. I had THE strangest pulling sensation in my lower abdomen on Saturday morning @ 6dpo, and of course my brain automatically jumped to "implantation." What are the chances of that happening, now, though It's funny how after all these months of symptom spotting, I just can't help myself! I fall into the trap every month!!
kiwi / 689 posts
@doxielove: I'm the exact same way. I tell myself each month that im not going to and I end up symptom spotting. I hate it! Why????!!!!!
kiwi / 739 posts
@LoveHope: I was negative at 9DPO. Hard to not be sad and think it's over. Still hang on though. When I did get my BFP earlier in the year- I got a negative from testing too early. Last night after mine I drank wine and goat cheese
kiwi / 689 posts
@LibbyLou: yum! Yeah I'm hanging on. It's hard to be positive after all the BFN's in my life.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@LibbyLou: @LoveHope: 8/ 9DPO is still early! I don't count myself out until 12DPO.
@doxielove: lol, I do this all the time too! Fx for you!
@NorthStar: I'm so sorry, friend. How many DPO are you?
pear / 1881 posts
@Crystal: I am 14 DPO, so I would think that I would have had a BFP if it was meant to be.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@NorthStar: So sorry to hear! Does your doc do a beta?
CD11 here, I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning. I'm hoping for two good follicles and that IUI can wait til Friday when DH and I are both off. We're doing femara/ovidrel/IUI #2.

@NorthStar: I'm so sorry. Do you have any insurance coverage for IVF?
@AmeliaBedilia: good luck! Keep us posted!

@AmeliaBedilia: Lots of good l uck to you this IUI! We are really rooting for you!

@Crystal: nope! completely out of pocket. We hope to qualify for the Attain program, so will get 3 fresh and 3 frozen cycles and if it doesn't work, will get money back (with exception of medication).
pear / 1881 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: They do, but I didn't have time to go in to do that today and I doubt that I'm preggo if my first response was negative at 14DPO. I also hate to pay for a test that seems completely unnecessary..
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@NorthStar: we don't either. can you share more about the attain program?
pear / 1881 posts
@Crystal: Basically, you pay a fee (not including medication) and get the number of cycles I mentioned above. Including medication, it will be about $30,000. Here is the overview from my RE. I think that your clinic has to be a participating clinic to do it, but I'm not completely sure on that. I have other questions on the program and hope to get those answered on the 16th. There are other programs out there like this too, so maybe asking your RE?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@NorthStar: that's amazing, thank you for sharing! I'll be sure to ask about that!
pear / 1881 posts
@Crystal: Your welcome! We just really want to complete our family and figured that this will give us the best chance.
A cross post from the IVF board, but I called the RE to see if I should stop the progesterone or not. The nurse wants me to keep taking the progesterone and said that eventually, my body will take over and give me AF if it's supposed to. If I don't have a BFP on Wednesday, I'm supposed to go in for a beta to confirm the BFN. I'm not hopeful at this point, but what they are having me do makes sense too. I've just been having this extremely vivid and crazy dreams on the progesterone and I'm so ready to just have a normal night of sleep.

Crosspost:
Ultrasound today showed a 20mm follicle and a 22mm follicle- yea! This is a mess schedule-wise. We are both off Friday and were hoping it would be then, but can't wait that long. DH can't do Thursday, so the plan is to trigger when I get home from work, IUI tomorrow morning. This means I will be late to a group meeting with my boss,DH might not be able to stay for actual IUI, and ovulating early means I will probably miss next month since I will be out of town during my fertile window. On the upside, he did use the words "beautiful" and"perfect" during the ultrasound. Two follicles means 5-10% chance of twins.

@AmeliaBedilia: Bummer about the scheduling, but it sounds like you have a great shot this cycle! FX for you!!!
I had my first acupuncture appointment yesterday. It went...OK. I didn't LOVE it. The needles did not hurt at all, but I felt super silly just lying there. It was relaxing, yes, but for the first 5 minutes I couldn't stop chuckling because I felt ridiculous. Not sure if I want to go back. Not sure it's my thing!
kiwi / 689 posts
@doxielove: I felt strange the first time I went. I couldn't relax. I kept going back and it felt better after each appointment. If you're not feeling it, then I wouldn't force it. It's really not for everyone.

@NorthStar: sorry about your bfn. Interesting info on the progesterone...my acupuncturist suspected I may have an issue there.
@doxielove: sorry to hear acupuncture wasn't your thing! I was happy the needles didn't bother me but I think I was more happy the acupuncturist was so nice and said I could email her anytime with questions. I asked her about the red raspberry leaf and other supplements and she said I should wait for the results of my blood test at my OB that I'm taking to rule out PCOS.
Fx and good luck to everyone this cycle!

@LoveHope: @NorthStar: sorry about the BFNs. I'm still sending positive vibes your way!
@AmeliaBedilia: great follies! I hope you guys can work around your schedule and that this is the month!
AFM: day 5 of spotting but it's tapering off. I took a test (ok two) when I got home and both positive. 10dpo here and would appreciate any good vibes you could send. I'm excited and terrified.

pomelo / 5326 posts
@LibbyLou: @doxielove: @LoveHope: @ms.line: thanks ladies!
@sslm: I will definitely get betas. I am going to try to just get through this week and will call my doctor on Monday. I will also have a early scan and the panorama done as quickly as possible since or last loss was a chromosome problem.
