@LibbyLou: I judged tested and BFN which makes me think I'm out as well this month. Already have AF spotting.

@LoveHope: sorry to hear
You guys I feel like such an idiot! I took a pregnancy test last night (dpo 13) and got a positive!!...well this morning I realized it was actually an ovulation test I took an actual preg test this morning and got BFN. Damnit!

@LoveHope: Booooo to AF. No, I wasn't monitored, unless you count blood tests for Progesterone levels to confirm O at 7DPO.
@lady grey: oh no! I'm so sorry. Don't feel like an idiot, we're so used to peeing on all the sticks.
I've been having cramps in my left side that feel like O pains, but I don't think that's possible because I don't think all the HCG has left my system yet. I'm going to take another HPT this morning, I hope it's blank!

@lady grey: oh god that sucks!!!
I'm out too, period came last night the little bitch.
I'll get another round of POAS though this month- put me down for the 30th

@lady grey: Ugh, that's terrible!
AFM, I had terrible ovulation pains for about eight hours yesterday. I had something similar last month but attributed it to bad cramping after IUI. I've never noticed ovulation except for my temperature. I'm now wondering if I wasn't ovulating right/strong enough. Both these past months it's been two follicles (last month was probably 2, possibly 1) and femara 5mg/ovidrel. I'm not sure what to think.

@doxielove: same to you. On to next month.
How do you guys respond to people saying it was easy to get KU? As you guys know I have a ton of friends preg right now. Yesterday I saw one gf for the first time since I found out. Her 1st was an accident (she claims) due to not pulling out. And this pregnancy she was like "we weren't even trying! I mean I took an opk and we DTD but it just happened! First try!"
Like cmon, using a opk means you're trying. I get you weren't obsessing like me over here but c'mon. I just nodded. Then cried for 45min on the way home. What do you guys say to this crap?

EFF ALL THE AFS!
@LibbyLou: Smug pregnant women drive me so crazy! I don't know what I even would have said, I probably would have been too pissed/shocked.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@ms.line: This reminds me of the Garfunkel and Oates song, "Pregnant women are smug."

@lady grey: ugh that sucks. What a letdown
@LibbyLou: @doxielove: sorry you ladies are out. All the best nice cycle.
I agree EFF the AFS!

@AmeliaBedilia: lol! I haven't heard of that song!
@LibbyLou: I'm so sorry. I know a lot of people like that, and I'm always dumbfounded and can't think of a response.
@doxielove: @LibbyLou: I'm so sorry to hear about AFs. Be nice to yourselves today.
I took an HPT, and it had the faintest squinted ever, yay! Possibly could have even been an evap. I'm hoping this means I can get back to normal soon, but we are looking at November before we can actively TTC again, and maybe December before we can get on clomid. Ugh.

@Crystal: Glad things are moving along. I hope you get to TTC and get your sticky baby soon! You can find the video on youtube.

@NorthStar: @Crystal: @LibbyLou: @AmeliaBedilia: @delight: Such a letdown! I really did get my hopes up for a minute. SO i'm 35 years old and we've been trying for 7 months. Do you guys thing I should go get some labs with my PCP or what? I've never seen a RE or anything. I'm new to this town so don't have an established relationship with an ob/gyn yet. I conceived my LO within 6 months (including one miscarriage). Advice please!
kiwi / 739 posts
@lady grey: I would! My OB is great and says as soon as you get frustrated, she would start testing and seeing if there's an issue. I think most want you to TTC for a year.
pear / 1696 posts
@LibbyLou: Do think I should get an OB to help with this or just start with my PCP?
kiwi / 739 posts
@lady grey: I personally would go OB. They are just more use to seeing it. Unless you have a relation with a PCP!
If you are TTC you'll want an OB relation to start anyway
pomelo / 5326 posts
@Crystal: ugh it sucks that you have to wait so long to TTC again and to get on Clomid. I hated the waiting after our loss. But my cycle was a little wonky for a few months so it was probably best. I hope you're feeling ok and have lots of support to get you through this.
@lady grey: I think at 35 it is recommended to seek help if you've been trying for 6 months. I would go talk to someone for sure. At least get the ball rolling.
pear / 1770 posts
@lady grey: At 35 they reccomend going to the doctor after 6 months. I would go straight to an RE, but I'm very impatient. Definitely OB over PCP.

Just got my beta result and it is 102 at 13dpo. Seems ok to me. I know it means nothing without a repeat draw but unfortunately with the weekend and holiday I can't go back until Tuesday!
kiwi / 739 posts
@delight: that sounds good though! Hopefully enough to enjoy your long weekend.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: thanks. ️
@delight: yay! Sounds like a good solid number. what did you do during the wait? After my first loss, AF was all messed up for MONTHS. I'm hoping that's not the case here.
@lady grey: like the others, I'd start with my OB. S/he should be able to get you a referral fairly quickly to an re after some initial testing.
pomelo / 5326 posts
@Crystal: Well the first couple months I was a pretty big mess after our loss I will admit! But then during the waiting period before TTC I tried to get back into things I enjoyed doing like reading, scrap booking and drinking wine I started to track my cycles after a few months again which I found helpful. I did disappear from HB for a few months though and I wish I hadn't. I just hated seeing my April due date board popping up after being a part of it for 5 months. At any rate before I knew it it was time to TTC again! Focus on yourself and your DH right now and healing so you're physically and emotionally ready when the time comes!

@delight: I hate the reminders from my old due date thread. I hid all of the due date boards, but still see pop ups now and again from those that were on the thread with me and it's incredibly difficult.
Good idea to get back into fun hobbies! I also need to get back to the gym for my MH.

Just wanted to pop in and say I've been silently keeping up and rooting for all of you!!
Great big CONGRATS to @delight !! I hope this one sticks and a H&H 9 months!!!
So so sorry to everyone that is moving on. I will probably be joining you as DH and I were only able to DTD once this cycle as his work schedule has kept him from being home.
DH & I went for the consult appt at the fertility clinic on Wed. Every single one of our tests came back normal... so more tests for me. Doing all of the bloodwork again, plus some (glucose fast and checking for testosterone levels from what I can tell have been added), will do an HSG (which may take up to 4 months to do) and am on the waiting list to schedule a laparoscopy, which would be in the new year. Will most likely rejoin this board for October...

@sslm: thanks. How are you doing?!
@HellOnHeels: thanks and good luck. This pregnancy for me was the result of DTD once!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@delight: good thanks! I started feeling pretty nauseous the last few days so I'm trying to take that as a good sign. Still not sure when my first u/s will be. Really trying to just be positive!!
pomelo / 5326 posts
@HellOnHeels: where are you in your cycle now?!
@sslm: I've been thinking lots of positive thoughts for you. I was so happy to see in the other thread that your betas ended up going up! What's the hold up on your scan? How many weeks are you now?
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@delight: it's just the way it works here. My doctor sends in a req and they call with an appointment. Usually not before 9 weeks. My doctor said she was going to do her best to get it earlier, so we'll see!

Hey ladies. I haven't posted in this thread at all because I was sure that I was out for this month.
Here's what happened: I never got a consistent temp rise before my doc put me on progesterone. I didn't learn until after I started taking it that progesterone would keep me from ovulating if I hadn't already. I thought it was possible that I O'd on CD 20, but I just wasn't sure and figured I was done for this cycle.
But this weekend we were camping, so on Saturday (CD 32) I decided to test because I really wanted to drink some beer this weekend. I didn't expect anything and honestly I almost ran out of the house without even checking it. It was *very* faint, but there seemed to be 2 lines. I couldn't really see them, but my niece said she did.
Today (CD 34) I grabbed some tests and was very upset when I realized they were blue dye instead of pink. (Since when are store brand first response tests made with blue dye?!) I've gotten a lot of false positives/evap lines on blue dye tests.
So before I get excited and tell my husband, what do you guys think? Is this a BFP?
