@MrsBrewer: I definitely see something! Excited to see what the FRER shows. Fingers crossed!!

Ladies who use green tea for the CM benefits, I have a question. How often do you drink it, and how much do you drink at a time? I am on CD7 and had 16oz at breakfast... I plan to continue this through CD18 to be sure I have ovulation covered. My CM is usually fine but I wouldn't mind a small boost and this seems to be the most natural, least invasive way to do it. Is this enough tea, often enough?

@Bigskygirl: I really hope so!!! I was thinking the same thing when I saw your !! I might test with another Wondfo on lunch today (which will be in like 45 minutes)

@Mrs. Microscope: That's a really good question! I'm going to watch and see if anyone answers!

@MrsBrewer: I see something too. It looks too pink to be an evap. Take a FRER now. I've had good luck with afternoon testing after a wondfo had something show up.

Well I just tested on lunch with a cheap Wondfo, and it was stark white We will see tomorrow with the FRER. I really wonder if the one this morning was a fluke.

@MrsBrewer: Don't wondfos want fmu? I would not test again until tomorrow morning. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

@kick641: Oh I have no idea? probably actually. I will definitely wait to test until tomorrow now. My curiosity just got the best of me
coconut / 8854 posts
Alright tested with FRER. Negative for sure. I'm assuming I saw something on the wondfo because I waited so long. I will test again on CD42 which is the 21st if I don't get my period before then.

@MrsBrewer: sorry
I still haven't ovulated yet so my POAS date will be changing. If I did ovulate tomorrow, the earliest I'd POAS is 9/24.

@Hoots: @ValentineMommy: @travellingbee: That's alright. Now don't get me wrong, I was really bummed. But.....maybe next time. I'm already looking forward to next cycle!

@MrsBrewer: sorry!
My new POAS date is 9/29! So I will have another chance this month I should be O'ing this weekend...roughly following the sperm meets egg plan, hopefully it works!

@hilsy85: We are doing SMEP this cycle too! My O date varies every month so I often end up feeling like our timing wasn't that great. This is cycle 6 for us so I am getting really antsy for something to work.

@angelachase: mine has been consistent the last 2 months, but I always worry it will change and I will miss the window!

I'm a total lurker but i wanted to answer @Mrs. Microscope: regarding drinking green tea for cm. I drank about 12-16oz either in the morning/afternoon once a day from the end of my period until after I ovulated. I noticed a significant increase in cm. It especially helped during sexy time
apricot / 306 posts
@Bigskygirl: it's really nothing super innovative--pretty much just a sex schedule, ha! It's meant to make sure you give yourself the best possible chance in a given cycle. Sex EOD starting on CD 8, OPKs starting CD10. When you get a + OPK, sex that day and the next two days after. Skip a day, then one more time. I've been timing BDing by OPKs, but since O changes every month, I think we've been starting too late in the window. Last month it was earlier than I expected and we only did it twice. I just want to stop wondering whether poor timing is the reason we haven't seen a BFP.
pear / 1788 posts
@enjollah: thanks for delurking to answer my question! Sounds like what I'm doing is going to work then!
EOD BD party starts tonight and goes for the next 10-12 days! Opks start tonight, CD8!

I'm out for September. I saw my doc yesterday, and he and DH really want me to take this month off to give my body a rest and also to do some testing with an RE. I'm really sad about it. I know one month isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but it feels like an eternity right now especially as we're entering the time to start trying this month. Our first due date will be here soon, and I won't be pregnant. You better believe I'll be on the October poas board!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@Tidybee: I'm sorry to hear that and I know how you feel about a month. but sounds like you're going to get some answers and that's great!
nectarine / 2262 posts
Well, just an update - I used the Clearblue digital OPKs for the first time this month. Got 3 days of flashing smileys and then the solid smiley, so I know I'm ovulating (woohoo!). But my temp has only gone up 0.5 degree, and even that was spread over 5 days, so... I don't know what to think.
I also started B-6 after O. We hit O-3, O-1, and O for BD... and none since then (today is O+2) Not for lack of trying though. I feel horrible b/c I think DH is feeling stressed to "perform" and that's why he couldn't get it done yesterday or today, and I feel bad for missing potentially fertile days... I was so proud of myself that I didn't say anything to him though, I just let it go and tried not to let anything show to him. I know it must be stressful for him and I don't want to put any more pressure on him.
So, I don't know if I feel so great about this cycle. We'll see how it goes. If this cycle is a , then I'm going to start bloodwork with my Gyn and DH is going to have a SA.

@MrsADS: O-3, O-1, and O are EXCELLENT days for fertile week! The fertile micro window is O-3 through O. Very little pregnancies happen from O+1, and the egg only lives 24hrs. So O+2 is pointless. Don't beat yourself up, you did great
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@MrsADS: I agree. Sounds awesome. Y'all, I'm so excited! I finally got a positive opk tonight. Hallelujah! I am Oing sooo late for me! But I was worrying it was going to be annovulatory. Timing isn't perfect but it's better than nothing. We'll have gotten O-3, O-1, and maaaaaybe O if we can squeeze it in. I'll take it.

I think I'm back to always positive opks. Not feeling like O is going to happen any time soon either. Slightly annoyed and depressed about this whole process.
nectarine / 2262 posts
@DC Yoga Bee @Travellingbee thanks ladies. That makes me feel better.
I am O+2 but my nipples are sore for the past few days. Don't know what to make of that...

Cycle Day: 21
TTC Cycle #: 1 (by accident! DH and I were waiting until initially going to wait until Oct, but a romantic vacation happened first!)
POAS date: I should be waiting until 9/22, but today (9/14) revealed a BFN - I will be trying again in several days.
Baby #: 1 (hopefully)
Your plan this month: Figure out how to relieve sore breasts (bras are the enemy, right now!)
Fall activities you are looking forward to: Watching football, and halloween!
Best of luck to everyone who is TTC. This is my very first go, and I'm brand new here. I really hope the best for everyone!

@Hoots - I'm so sorry. I don't know your entire story, but I'm hoping you'll receive some good ovulation news soon.

@Eko: can you change my POAS date to 9/25?
@Lolarelli: good luck!
kiwi / 673 posts
@Lolarelli: Thanks! Really not much to tell. Pretty much PCOS and really long cycles, if at all. I've been on Metformin for a bit, and actually ovulated last month. I was pretty down about things yesterday, mostly because I realized that most people get to re-start their TWW about now. Feeling better about things this morning, and just hoping for a bit shorter cycle this time. Good luck with the wait! I don't have any advice on the soreness. Let me know if you find something. Last cycle I had the same problem during my TWW.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
We have some POASers coming soon, right?
@Mrsvdv, @Novbaby1112, @Cascademom, @MrsSquirreld, @Rubycali?
How are y'all doing?
I have definitely finally ovulated and have entered the TWW. Have a progesterone blood test this Thursday. I hope these next few weeks fly by.

@Hoots: sorry hun
I am confused....the last 2 cycles, I have O'd on CD 13, confirmed by temping and OPKs. This cycle, I haven't gotten a positive OPK yet, and am now on CD14...I had EWCM today and the last two days, and my temp jumped up today, so I'm guessing I still O'd yesterday at CD13....? Weird that I didn't get a + opk though. The monitor also gave me error messages yesterday, so maybe it would have been positive? I find the OPKs so annoying!

Is anyone else horrible at temping??
Some mornings I will just completely forget to do it, and then other times, I wake up like 8 million times in the middle of the night so I never have a solid 3 hours of sleep!
Although a few days ago I have a pretty large temp spike, and ever since that day my nipples have been so insanely tender. Even a shirt grazing across them hurts!
Although that would put my O day at CD31. Is that even possible that late in a cycle?

@Eko: My POAS was negative for the 10th Can you put me down for the 21st though?
