@cascademom: The FRER doesn't even look that light to me, especially for 8-9dpo! That's what mine looked like 2 weeks ago at 11-12dpo. Congrats!!!

@SeptMomma12: The top FRER picture is when it's still wet and in time range. I'm know that being weird about it. I'm trying to remember when I took pics of my lines with LO. The reason I took four tests this morning is that I found one from yesterday I threw away in the trash that appeared to have a positive on it. I must have thrown it away before it showed anything or I was running late getting myself and LO ready.

    @ballerinabee: @JennyG: @Mrs. Microscope: @MrsBrewer: Thanks!

@travellingbee: Thanks! It's still so surprising to me. I didn't think that we had a shot this month. We got it on twice before O and once after, then life got busy. I'm crossing my fingers that this hitchhiker stays awhile. I'm already getting side stitches when I walk.

@cascademom: Yep - definitely positive! 2 different brands of tests wouldn't have evaps! And they're way too dark/pink to be evaps. Congrats!

@hilsy85: I am seeing the RE on 10/20. We'll have had all of the testing and he's looking at my D&C slides, so that appointment will be to discuss all of the results and where to go from there. I was bummed about not being able to try in October but as that will be in the middle of the TWW, we're still going to try and then just follow up with him if I get pregnant for more monitoring.

@Tidybee: Waiting is so hard. I'm hoping you get a and just need monitoring, but it's also good to know you'll also have test results & an appt just in case.

I had my CD3 blood work on Thurs last week, so am just waiting to hear the results. My doctor's office said they'd call with the results and schedule whatever the next step is based on what the bloods show.

I am having another x-ray guided cortisone injection in my SI joint right when I should O next week. I wonder how that will affect trying this cycle. I don't know if we should try or not... I'm CD 8 now, so I'll be CD 15 on the day of the x-rays / injections. Unfortunately, I need to do this, and they can't fit me in sooner. <frustrated>

@travellingbee: thanks for checking up on me! I've been completely absent from the boards because we've been trying since February and I'm so over TTC and I didn't want to be negative on here.. Anyway, I think I'm 18 dpo and still no AF. I took a FRER on Saturday (15 dpo) and it was negative. But still no AF so I don't know what's going on. Will be testing again in the morning when DH is here because I'm scared to spend those 5 minutes alone waiting. I really hope this is it but I'm so scared to be disappointed again!

Those of you that OPK, what day do you start on and what time of day do you test??

Hoping to O this week in cycle #2 for this month

  28. auggiefrog

    kiwi / 631 posts

@Mrs. J: Do you temp? When I first started using opk's I started testing about day 12. After I got to know my cycle I started testing about day 14. They say it is best to test in the afternoon. I usually test twice a day, morning and evening on the days I expect O.

  29. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@Mrs. J: I start on cd 11 and test usually in the afternoon but as I get closer I test 2-3 times a day. Last time I got a negative in the afternoon but a positive in the evening.
@mrsvdv: aw I get it. I really hope this is it for you too!

  30. Mrs. J

    pomelo / 5132 posts

@auggiefrog: I do temp. It's hard to tell anything when the baby decides to wake up in the night! When I got pregnant with my son, temping was the only way that I could figure out O. I never got a positive OPK, but I am going to try them again!

  31. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@Mrs. J: I have the same issue with temping. Part if me says, am I an idiot for wanting another when this one still won't sleep through the night?! Oy!

@Mrs. J: This is only my second month doing OPK, but I've started around day 12. Last month I used CBE digital and this time I'm using wondos. I think I like the wondos better, but we'll see if I get a better result in the end with a BFP.

@raspberries: @ballerinabee: @travellingbee: @Mrs. J: thank you! I tested again when I woke up at 4.30 this morning but another negative. There might be a shadow but I'm likely fooling myself. No AF either though. Going back to bed before DS wakes up in an hour. Thanks again for the support!

Okay I think I'm officially 7 DPO, and I'm sooooo tempted to test, but I'm running really low! I think I might hold off and wait until 9 DPO at least...
