@Bigskygirl: we BD on Monday, so if I O'd today, that's O-2. If yesterday (with the right sided cramping), then O-1. hopefully again tonight, if we're not too tired (so sleep deprived this week due to our teething 2.5 yo).
Not temping this month (my Dr thinks it's a waste of time, but I love watching the graph as the month goes), but will definitely next month if this month doesn't work. Just the OPKs this month.

@MrsBrewer: I was also told 42. That's why I hadn't started Provera yet. My BBT temp spike registered on day 42. I suppose, technically, I was still supposed to start it that day, but there was no way in hell I was going to until I figured out if it was a fluke or not.

@Hoots: I always wondered that! What happens if your temp spikes late in your cycle like that? Do you hold off on Provera then?
kiwi / 673 posts
@MrsBrewer: I wasn't sure, but I'm happy with my decision to hold off. This is the first sustained temp shift I've had on my own. The temp shift should indicate a natural increase in progesterone. Since Provera is a synthetic variant of progesterone, I figure it's all going to end up the same. AF will come when it subsides naturally or you stop taking the pills. But at least the natural route I can keep the dream alive. And two weeks with hope is two weeks more hope than the last 4 months.

I want to join this board... we have been trying for around 17 months so I am on the 6 months+ board as well.
POAS date: September 10th
I ovulated today and had an IUI today! (this is my 3rd) I had 2 good follicles on my ultrasound and trigger shot Monday evening. IUI at 11am this morning. DH's count and motility were great! My estradiol level was 959 which they said was great! So everything seems to be heading in the right direction!
Good luck to everyone!

@fotolori1: today! FX big time for you!
In other news, Fertility Friend has a huge discount (40%) on their 1 year VIP membership. I went ahead and purchased, just because I'm sure I'll be wishing I did after AF probably comes. I like data, what can I say.

@Hoots: what does the VIP membership give you that you don't have with the free version??

@MrsBrewer: not sure yet other than the charts like yours feature and more of the analysis type stuff. But for $25, I'm willing to try. I'll report back when I have some time to explore.

@MrsBrewer: I've been using the VIP membership for a while, and the best thing about it is that it analyzes your past data and predicts when you are most likely to ovulate. It will color your likely fertile days green. It has helped me fit in 3+ BD per fertile period the past few months. There are lots of other features but that is my favorite.
apricot / 452 posts
@MrsBrewer: it also gives you access to the pregnancy tracker, if you get pregnant during your membership, and access to the VIP forums. There are more differences, but those are the ones that jump out at me. Here's the link that shows you all of the differences: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/comparison.html
So, according to FF I O'd yesterday. I think our timing was pretty good this cycle, so now the TWW! (I am so impatient)

@ballerinabee: tww is the worst! Good luck!
This one is dragging for me...I am 9dpo and temps are still high above the cover line...I refuse to test until Sunday or Monday so just waiting impatiently for the weekend to be over!
apricot / 452 posts
@hilsy85: I can't believe you can wait until Monday! I started testing with wondfos at 9dpo (and I was sure it would be negative, because my temp had dipped to the cover line that morning) with my first pregnancy. I got a faint bfp at 10dpo, and it got darker each day after that. I didn't tell DH until I got a positive digital test (12dpo) bc he doesn't trust the cheapies. Here's that chart:

I am just really excited for September first to be here so we can start seeing some testing!!! Eek.

@ballerinabee: that looks like my BFP chart with my first LO--it was very spiky so I thought for sure we were out! I didn't test until 12dpo with him and got a positive on a digi...I just don't want to get my hopes up this time. Here's this month's chart.

@hilsy85: sounds like this month's temps are looking similar to your successful chart from your first LO. Here's hoping!

Hello everyone! I thought my POAS date would be around now…but I am going for a beta on Tuesday…so I'm coming over to this thread!
Cycle Day: 29
TTC Cycle #: 11? 12? Losing track..
POAS date: 9/2 (day of beta and I'm sure I will POAS!!)
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: This month I used bbt, opk's, went to the RE for the first time this month and they did a post-coital and all came back normal, they checked my progesterone on 7 DPO and it came back as a 7 and they wanted to see 10 or higher so I just began taking progesterone suppositories the other day. I typically have 28 day cycles but I O'ed on CD 20 this month and everything is now delayed (arch). My temps are still high as of today! FX.
Fall activities you are looking forward to: Pumpkin picking, fall decorating, apple picking, Halloween, fall crafts

to all the new additions to this thread! I hope we have a pile of bfps this month. I'm really looking forward to hanging out on a month twin board someday.

Really bummed I have to pull myself out this cycle...job interview in 2 weeks so I really need to wait a bit!

@NovBaby1112: I saw your other thread I'm sorry that it means putting your TTC plan on hold, but this new job sounds like it would be a great opportunity! FX for you!

@hilsy85: thank you! super bummed about not ttc this month, but we will see what happens... Totally going to be stalking this thread though, your chart looks really promising!! hurry up Sunday!!

Small victory! i just got a positive OPK tonight (CD22) that is one day earlier then last cycle! Now I'm just hoping the B6 works and lengthens my luteal phase (hopefully significantly considering it was only 7 days last time).

Hey all, I have a question. I've noticed the last few days that I've been generally feeling okay during the day, but about 6-7pm I start to feel really bloated, gassy, moody, bbs feel really full and tender and just terrible in general. By morning, I feel pretty regular again. Honestly, it feels like I've been taking Provera (I used to take it at night because it made me feel bad). I know progesterone spikes mid-luteal, and stays up if you are KU or subsides triggering AF if not. I guess I always thought that progesterone would be steady, but it feels like mine is in overdrive at night and then gone.
Is this something that happens to anyone else? I feel like I'm pretty clueless as I'm unsure if I've ever really ovulated before after this cycle.
cherry / 157 posts
@Bigskygirl: I read your post last night before you deleted it, and I'll be sending good vibes your way and hoping timing works out for you.
@Hoots: I generally get bloated about halfway through the day and my chest will feel swollen and tender at night during my lp, but they aren't noticeable enough to make me feel ill or anything. So I guess the timing could be normal, but I don't know about the severity?

@kick641: Thanks! I deleted the post because I was bummed, venting, and I think its more important to stay positive right now.

I have an ultrasound this morning to find out what's up with my spotting/weird cycles. It feels like a slap in the face to have an ultrasound when you aren't pregnant.
cherry / 157 posts
@travellingbee: I had to have one for a surgery down there in January of this year, which was kind of gross so I won't describe, and it was difficult hanging out in the office surrounded by happy pregnant people while waiting to ttc (because I needed the surgery), I can't imagine being there after ttc unsuccessfully. I hope nothing is wrong and you've just had bad luck so far. Let us know what the results are if you want! FX for you.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@kick641: thanks. I haven't been trying too long and I have a lovely DS so I really can't complain much… it just put an exclamation point on the end of a crappy cycle. I apparently got my AF during the internal part of the ultrasound.
Anyway... Cd#1

Sorry I'm late, I wanted to join in on this board but wasn't sure if I'd POAS this month. It's my first cycle off BC and I was diagnosed with PCOS in high school and my chart was abandoned for two weeks while I had to have surgery + recover from a bad reaction to the antibiotics. So I've just been testing intermittently and since I got a BFN this morning, September here I come!
Cycle Day: 37
TTC Cycle #: 1
POAS date: Not entirely sure. I'm going to on 9/2 when we get back from a mini vacation trip. I might have ovulated around CD27, but don't have enough temps before that to tell!
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: We started out charting BBT and CM, but there's a two week gap of no data at all
Chart link: I use Kindara, idk if I can link that
Fall activities you are looking forward to: Fall is my favorite season - so basically everything! Baking, carving pumpkins, Halloween, Thanksgiving!
ETA: correct wrong CD for O

@mrs scrapbook: Good luck Mrs. Scrapbook! That would be wonderful if you got ku your first cycle trying. I'll admit that I'll be a little jealous.
