@Bigskygirl: I feel like we are kind of twins here! This was my first month on Clomid too! That's awesome that you had a confirmed O day at least though!!

@MrsBrewer: You are right! I am very happy to have a confirmed ovulation...and on day 17 no less. It's been a pretty "normal" cycle. That is a plus. Did you ovulate? What day are you on in your cycle?
coconut / 8854 posts
@Bigskygirl: That's so awesome!!! What dose are you on? 50?
I don't think I ovulated this cycle :-(, I'm on CD 24 today. I've been tracking my temp, and I never had any definite spikes. Next month I will be using OPK's though in case I missed it somehow with temps!

@Bigskygirl: I have friends who didn't get a positive test until a week or so after their missed period. Could be late implantation / later than expected O. We'll keep fx for you!

I guess I'll test again after work today? I still have nary a sign of AF. I temped today and it was just sliiiiightly elevated (though almost 2 hours earlier than I'd been temping for the first half of this cycle due to job schedule changes). My last BFN was Saturday at what I thought was 11 DPO, so today would be 15 DPO. I've never had an LP longer than 14 days before, and they're usually 12. But I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever! I still kinda think maybe I didn't actually O.

BFN this morning at 13 DPO. Delayed O tripped us up, so we only DTD once in the "real" fertile window and it was either 0-3 or O-4. Currently on CD37 right now....

@mrsbrewer: I'm in the same boat! I'm on cd 28 with wacky temps all month and no consistent high temps. I'm so sad to think that this cycle was a wash and who knows how long ill have to wait until AF. I'm sorry you haven't o'd either!

@auggiefrog: I had a cold when pregnant with m/c2. I tested at 8dpo because I wanted to take cold medicine so badly and it turned out to be

I'm starting to think this cold is just a cold. I tested early tonight and it was a BFN. I'm going to try to wait until Saturday before testing again.

@Runnergirl: ugh boo on the crazy temps... Hopefully we will both be pleasantly surprised this month!!!

Urgh positive OPK right? The day after I predicted. DH and I are both crook as with the flu so I don't think it's gonna happen tonight but we DTD a day and a half ago so fingers crossed still!

I just realized my OPK's expire on the day AF is due! Hopefully that's a sign I won't need anymore OPKs!

I POAS'd this morning and BFN. I am about 13-14DPO. AF hasn't arrived yet, but it's been a couple days late since I am taking progesterone. Just waiting for AF to show up.
pomelo / 5791 posts
What do you all consider your POAS date? A certain DPO? Or the day AF is due?
I am going to try SO hard to not POAS until the 20th. It's the day before AF is due - and the day we come home from vacation. I'm going to promise myself not to take preg tests with me.
With my m/c, I drove myself crazy POAS like every DPO. It was ridiculous.
nectarine / 2522 posts
@ValentineMommy: I put my POAS day as the day AF is due. But I can usually never wait that long and probably start testing at 10DPO which is just dumb cause it can lead to disappointment and spending too much money on tests!! I'm hoping this time around I can wait the full 2 week wait!
pomelo / 5791 posts
@Mrs squirreld: I'm hoping my vacation will take my mind off of it, but I am a craaaaazy symptom spotter lol
pear / 1849 posts
@ValentineMommy: I also put my POAS date as the day AF is due. I'm not really sure when I O'd this month so I'm going to try to wait as close to that date as possible! I have zero symptoms though, so I'm not feeling very hopeful.
honeydew / 7235 posts
@ValentineMommy: I put my POAS date this month for the day after AF would be due... My cycles tend to vary though so that date was close enough. I am really trying NOT to poas unless AF is late. As it is I think I started spotting (very light) so I think I will just wait for aF and not even poas at all.
cherry / 157 posts
@Eko: Sorry to hear that, Eko. You still might get a bfp this cycle? I'll keep my fingers crossed, anyway.
honeydew / 7235 posts
@SeptMomma12: yup, zero symptoms. Not even AF symptoms this month (yet) so weird. But I think AF is about to start.
pear / 1849 posts
@hellobeeboston: Yeah, I'm kinda just waiting for AF too. Don't feel good about this month. My only possible "symptom" was having a total emotional meltdown in the car last night on the way home from the supermarket after my son screamed at the top of his lungs for the entire shopping trip...but I think that was more a result of being completely overwhelmed by a strong-willed almost 2-yr-old than anything else:(
grapefruit / 4066 posts
@Marfi: I'm sorry
@hellobeeboston: I was just wondering how you've been doing....do you normally spot before AF arrives? @SeptMomma12: For what it's worth I had literally zero symptoms with my LO and totally thought i was out
coconut / 8854 posts
The only way I figured out my POAS date was CD28, I have no clue when I ovulate or anything, so I figured that I would start testing then, and then just test maybe every other day until my period??
honeydew / 7235 posts
@SeptMomma12: I so feel your pain there. I cannot bring my almost 2 year old to the store without another person, or unless he's hungry and I have a TON of food/snacks and I run through the store as fast as possible. Sorry to hear about the tears
honeydew / 7235 posts
@NovBaby1112: yes! I normally spot before AF so I think she's here. I wasnt feeling hopeful, didn't seem like we were successful, ha. No symptoms, but I am having hip pain which is weird and I thought could be a weird early symptom, but I think I just slept crooked the other night.
apricot / 452 posts
@eko & @marfi: I'm sorry
@SeptMomma12: I can empathize with the two year old dramatics. <hugs>
@ValentineMommy: I used the date FF gave me, which is the day/day before my period is due. I'm trying not to cave and start testing tomorrow, which would be 9dpo. I have a bunch of wondfos, and I got an early (9dpo) positive with my son. The 11th is my DH's birthday, so I'm trying to wait until the 10th to test, as FF recommends, so if it is a bfp, I can give DH a digital (the only ones he believes) with his bday gift. On the other hand, if it's a bfn, I'm setting myself up emotionally for a big disappointment... I can't decide!
coconut / 8861 posts
@ValentineMommy: I put mine as 8 DPO. When I got pregnant with LO, 8 DPO was my first positive. After peeing on multiple sticks this TTC, it's become obvious that if I don't get a positive by about 8DPO or so, I'm out. This last cycle, I stopped testing after 10 DPO and got my AF.
pomelo / 5791 posts
I didn't test early with DS, so it was the day was AF was due - I'll never know if I would have gotten a earlier!! With my m/c, I tested from 5DPO on (I know, ridiculous) and didn't get the until the day AF was due anyway.
I think it's just mentally/emotionally safer for me to wait until at least the day before, though it's going to kill me anyway!

I'm new to these boards. Excited to start this journey with all of you!
Cycle Day: 15
TTC Cycle #: 1
POAS Date: September 17
Baby #: 2 (DD is 18 months)
Your plan this month: Wait and see! I used all the TTC tricks the first time around and it still took 6 months, so this time we are taking a more relaxed approach.
Fall activities you are looking forward to: Cooler weather! It has been unusually hot here this summer. I'm also looking forward to a weekend getaway with DH for our 5 year anniversary. It will be our first trip just the two of us since having DD!
Anyone else going for baby #2? I am both thrilled and terrified at the prospect of having a second baby, especially since DD was a difficult newborn and now a very strong willed toddler who likes my full attention. Can anyone relate?
pear / 1955 posts
@Eko: @Marfi: Sorry, ladies
I usually set my POAS date on the weekend before AF is due. I think if I got a BFP on a work day, I'd be so excited that I'd spill it to all of my work friends, and that does NOT need to happen, haha.
pear / 1955 posts
@RubyCali: Welcome! I'm not TTC #2, but there are a lot of them on this board. Good luck!
honeydew / 7235 posts
@RubyCali: welcome!! Yes, slowly trying for a second, a little scared of having 2 also! my son is almost 2!
pomelo / 5791 posts
@RubyCali: #2 here as well. DS is 18m too! Scared of having another m/c for me..... It's all scary!
