I got my positive OPK today! I'm new at this, How long will it stay positive for? Until I ovulate? Should I keep testing to see when it turns back to a negative so I know that I ovulated?
We DTD yesterday. I'm hoping I can pursuade DH to do it again today. I don't want him to know the details because I think it'll mess with his head. If we don't do it today, there's still a good chance of pregnancy, right?

@Shizaz: your positive OPK means you should ovulate in the next 1-2 days. As long as it's a true positive (test line is darker than the control line) there is no need to keep testing, although I do and a lot of others do too. The first positive opk is the one you go off of. So since you dtd yesterday that is good and I'd try to BD again today/tomorrow and maybe even the next day if you can
Good luck!

Hi all!
I may be jumping in - not sure - chart help please!
Cycle Day: No freakin' clue - my D&C was 5 weeks ago
TTC Cycle #: 1 post m/c
Ovulation and POAS dates: see below
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: Ovulate
So I'm 5 weeks out from D&C so I have NO idea what my body is doing, when I'll ovulate, or POAS. I started charting about 2 weeks after the procedure and FF claims I O'd this weekend? What do you think?

I know my temps were off because I slept way later this weekend than I normally do.. so I don't know..

I'm jumping in too:
Cycle Day: 12 (Ovulating and BDing right now)
TTC Cycle #: 1
Ovulation and POAS dates: September 25
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: We had luck BD 4 out of 5 potential O times for LO#1 so we'll try the same this time around
For Fun: We're headed to CO for a baby free wedding with lots of good friends right around my POAS day! So either I'll be happy or I'll get to drink!

Okay my CH have seem to hold steady so I guess I'll POAS 9/14? We BD at O-2 and O+1 so I may have a shot this month?
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@JoJoGirl: Definitely have a shot! I've heard that O-2 timing has the highest likelihood of resulting in pregnancy so I wish you all the luck!

@MrsDragon: You can take me off the list and put me in the October section. I won't test until at least October 1 assuming I ovulate on 9/20. I'll stick around to cheer everyone on, though.

@MrsKoala: Thanks!! This is also my first ovulation (maybe?!) after my D&C so all bets are off for this cycle. We'll see!

@ModernDayJibarita: Yay! Congrats!
So I had terrible nausea today. It started with a headache last night (because I stayed up too late watching tv) and the headache continued throughout the morning and early afternoon. Nausea kicked in about 7:30am or so when I got to work. I put my head down on my desk and tried not to throw up kind of nausea. I thought it may have been from my headache, but that faded away and was gone by lunchtime. My nausea was even worse. After I ate, I felt 100x better. An hour or so later I was fine. I'm trying not to read into it, but the nausea was seriously so powerful that I almost threw up a few times. If this is pregnancy related, morning sickness is no joke!! Either I caught a 6 hour bug, my headache caused terrible nausea, it's psychological because we are TTC, or I may really have early pregnancy symptoms. I don't feel other symptoms. I feel tired, but not exhausted. Like I said, I stayed up way too late last night. I'm about 7dpo. Is that too early to be feeling symptoms??
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@Mrs. Peanut: I don't think it's too early for symptoms. I knew without a doubt very early (before a BFP) with all three of my pregnancies. That sounds promising!! Fingers crossed!
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Mrs. Peanut: that's definitely not too early. With my last ectopic in March I had some symptoms as early as 6dpo good luck

@Mrs. Peanut: I knew before my bfp's the last two times! It's not too early! (Though for your sake I rather hope it's not a sign you'll be terribly sick the whole time.)

@QBBride: @Honeygold89: @Torchwood: Thanks ladies! I am really hoping! I'll definitely keep you posted whenever I POAS! I hope it's not indicative that I'll have awful morning sickness too, but right now, I'd take it to be KU! Although if this happens every day, it's going to be a very very long first trimester.
