I'm out woke up to af so I didn't even have to test the thing that worries me is now since my last ectopic my cycles have shortened now I'm only making it to 9 or 10dpo when I use to go until 14. Hopefully my sonogram gives me answers the end of this month

I think I finally O'd yesterday on cd23. The pain I had in my hip/back on the right side was super intense! We BD every day since CD14 but we're just too exhausted to even attempt last night, so hopefully we are good. The month we got pregnant with DD we DTD on CD23 so hoping that's a good sign lol. My POAS date is early but I'll keep it since I'll be out of town alone until the 21dt.

@Honeygold89: I'm sorry - I hope the sono gives you some answers and here's to October!

Okay guys. I'm a bit confused.
Back story since I jumped in late:
Found out we lost our baby at 8 weeks on July 31, my D&C was August 5th (5.5 weeks ago). I started temping maybe 2 weeks after the D&C; discarded a few high/pregnancy temps.
I got dotted crosshairs saying I O'd this past Friday (4 weeks post D&C) which could have been accurate but I have no idea. I also slept in super late this weekend so not sure I trust it. I started having some brown spotting yesterday, all day, so assumed I was going to get AF today and the crosshairs were wrong.
Then my temp shot up this morning and no sign of AF. WTF?
Is it even possible to get a BFP 6 weeks post-miscarriage??? I mean i know it's biologically possible but really don't know if I shouldn't get my hopes up...... thoughts appreciated on this one....
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@JoJoGirl: Implantation spotting possibly? If you did indeed O at the dotted crosshairs, then you'd be 7DPO which seems correct in terms of timing. When are you going to test?

@Honeygold89: I'm sorry, hun. I hope the sonogram does give you some answers. It isn't fair.

@Honeygold89: Ugh, I'm sorry. hope the sono can provide some answers for you.

@MrsKoala: I was thinking implantation spotting too (which I had with pregnancy #1 but not #2/mc), but am really trying not to get my hopes up. 6dpo seems a bit early for that, no?
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@JoJoGirl: good luck!! I O'd about 3 weeks after my m/c and got my about a week later. So it's definitely possible!

@Honeygold89: I'm sorry. Hopefully you can find some answers!
@JoJoGirl: Fingers crossed!
@MrsDragon: Can you change my POAS date to the 16th? DH has convinced me to wait until I actually am late so we don't get a false negative or waste $ on testing too early.

Jumping in here, hoping you ladies will have some insight?
Cycle day: 33
Ttc cycle: 3, after m/c first cycle in May
Poas: 9/9
Child: #2, daughter is 3, and she was a one and done yet- so charting and testing is all new to me!
I've taken 5 tests, all negative even this morning with the first pee, but I'm late and feeling fatigued. Is there a magic test I should be taking? Digital? Or should I call my midwife in Monday and go for a blood test, or just wait....
I'm feeling out of synch with my body since my miscarriage in May, so I'm second guessing EVERYTHING. Any advise or guidance would be helpful. Tia!

@OldpuebloJenn: do you chart? That always helps me know if I ovulated late or am actually late. Last cycle I was actually late but not pregnant - I think my body was still adjusting from a chemical. I would wait it out, or if it's easier/better for your sanity, ask for a blood test.

Update: I started to feel pains today which I thought might be ovulation pains. I took an OPK (never used one before) and got a line, not as dark as the control line so I know I'm not ovulating yet.
My question- does having a line there mean I'm on the verge of on the verge of ovulating? Lol... I was pretty excited to see any kind of line!
kiwi / 585 posts
@WinterBee: yes! I never used the ones that you test to see the lines (only the smiley faces), but keep testing until the control line and test line are pretty much the same. It sounds like you will be O'ing soon! I would still DTD right now tho! Good luck!!

@TrailRunner: Ahhhhh!!! Thank you! we have been bd eod since af stopped and won't stop until either af or bfp!
clementine / 928 posts
@WinterBee: I would start now! I know for me, I use Wondfo's and my line never gets as dark or darker than the control line when it's positive. I've been tracking for 9 months and mine gets close to the same darkness and looks negative but it coincides with my chart as ovulating about a day and half later. Super confusing sometimes
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@WinterBee: I used cheapies last time and the line became gradually darker! I didn't see it get as dark as the control - almost - but temps confirmed ovulation.

Okay so I POAS today and it was negative. But as always I am super confused about my chart!! Anyone care to weigh in?
Still says I Od September 4 putting me at 10dpo today.
5 and 6dpo I had brown CM which I thought may be implantation spotting.
Yesterday my temp dipped and I had some red blood so I put CD1 in FF and figured my LP is short post-M/C.
Woke up this morning and temp shot up (even given the later temp time given the rest of the month) and no more bleeding. Now I'm wondering if yesterday was implantation? Or if I'm just COMPLETELY NUTS.
Anyway I POAS for fun and it was negative. So guess we'll see!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@JoJoGirl: Hmmm that is interesting. I'd say that if the red blood was IB, you'd see a positive tomorrow or the day after.. Fingers crossed!
persimmon / 1071 posts
@mrschickpea: @MrsDragon: Thank you!!! I'm not temping so I don't have anything to compare it too. I was going to start this cycle but I got lazy. If I'm Oing or close to O that means I won't have another 57 day cycle and I'm on track of what my cycles used to be! Woohoo!
@JoJoGirl: Good luck! I think it could be implantation, I read somewhere it was happen 6-12DPO. Hopefully that's what's happening for you! I would absolutely keep testing.
persimmon / 1071 posts
@MrsKoala: Thanks girl! I never thought I'd be so excited about ovulating lol.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
@WinterBee: Hahaha it's amazing what this process does to you. I remember the first positive OPK I got, I took a picture because I was so excited!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@MrsKoala: @WinterBee: Thanks! I feel like a total nut over here ha ha
pomegranate / 3355 posts
@JoJoGirl: nice!! i'm hoping that was implantation bleeding!!!
are you a seasoned bbt'er?? I just started temping and i'm wondering how precise does it really have to be?? Meaning I know you're supposed to take it same time every day and that you're supposed to take it after a full nights sleep, but lets be real here....... I have a 22 month old and I rarely sleep all night everrrrr, she does but I don't anymore So will my temps be ok? or will they be so out of whack that I shouldn't even bother??
persimmon / 1071 posts
@MrsKoala: Lol, I was very tempted to take a picture... and it's not even positive yet haha.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Ajsmommy: Haha yes, luckily my 28 mo old is a decent sleeper (finally) so I'm not sure - generally temps should be taken within about an hour of each other every day. I temp at 5am during the week (when I get up for the gym before work) and closer to 6:30 on the weekends when I get up to get LO but FF takes into account different wake times so it seems to work. I'd try it for a few weeks and see how it goes!
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@Ajsmommy: my kid never sleeps & my husband's shift work wakes me up at all hours! FF sometimes gets mad at me for fluctuating temps but has always managed to pull ovulation out of it.
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@WinterBee: if you're feeling ovulation pains, it's probably too late to see a positive OPK. Usually you get a positive 12-48 hours before you O, so you might have got a positive a couple days ago.
persimmon / 1071 posts
@QBbride: As long as I'm ovulating lol. DH and I have been 'doing it' lots so any time I do O we will have had good timing.
Every month I do feel O pains, but I'm not sure if my pains come before, during or after O. I tried to look it up and it all looks the same to me.
I'm going to take a OPK in an hour or so again anyways to see what it's doing.
apricot / 347 posts
So I caved and tested today before dinner. BFN. I am hoping at this early I just need to test first thing in the morning. I'll try again on Wednesday, but my hopes are a little diminished. Hopefully just too early!
