I just checked the serial website, but it looks like it has crashed, I bet a ton of people are trying to get on it right now.

I'm so excited! I haven't listened yet, by I'm really intrigued by this case. I remember when the story was coming out in the news and feeling like there was a lot I was missing.

Thanks for posting this, I just looked for the new season last week but didn't know when it was starting.
I just finished listening to the first episode, what a captivating story and Sarah Koenig is so great to listen to. Next week sounds interesting!

I tried to listen to the first episode last night and I stopped about half way through. I am disappointed, it didn't hook me like the first series so I don't plan to continue.

@Mrs. Lion: yeah she was all nbd. Wonder how many times she had to record that line to sound so casual. Haha. I think they have some extra creative help on putting these episodes together this season so we should probably expect more of this! I'm way too pumped about this season.

@HazelEyes: I'm wondering the same thing. I didn't listen to season 1 until the whole thing had been released, and I'm not sure I can deal with having to wait a week between episodes!

@looch: I recommend trying to make it until the end, the last 2 minutes she does something that made me go "OMG SHE JUST CALLED WHO!?" And it has got me hooked for next week.

@looch: I agree, I didn't think it as nearly as compelling as the first season. A murder mystery from 20 years ago is pretty interesting. All the things that came to light during the story and after, it really sucked everyone in. But whether a guy is telling the truth for walking away from the army in Afghanistan? I don't really care as much. I heard him give his explanation about how bad the leadership was and he wanted to do something to give him the ear of people higher up, and I was like okay so where's the mystery?
It did get more interesting at the end like everyone said, because how can you call the Taliban?? I'll keep listening but I'm just not sure I'll find this story all that intriguing.
