Well, I just had my first public scolding. Was carrying my 5.5 month old into a store and a lady rolled down her window and called out, "He needs a toboggan, Mom!"
It's 65 degrees. LO was in pants and long sleeves. What. The. Hell. I wish I had said something bitchy back but she was gone before I could close my mouth!

MyLO is almost 2.5 and someone scolded me that she was cold in her stroller the other day. It had gotten colder since we went out and it was a little chilly, but she can tell me when she's cold and we weren't going to be out much longer. But thanks for your input.
And don't get me started on the old people and their advice when I took her grocery shopping as an infant.

@Jennibenni: Well that's even more annoying if she was making a comment that you weren't dressing your kid appropriately. Some people just can't keep their mouths shut!

Why are old people obsessed with our babies temperature?
It makes me twitch when people (MIL and FIL, I'm looking at you) tell me my daughter should have socks on her feet.

I had a stranger scold me for not having a blanket on my baby earlier this week. It was 65 degrees and he was in a sweater onesie with another layer underneath... And fleece booties... And a hat. If anything, he was hot!

@runnerd: The other day my MIL told me it's not summer anymore! Oh, it's not? Thanks for pointing that out. Her Christmas dress has short sleeves and I can't wait to hear about that!
