Did it work for you/your SO?
I'll admit, this belly (much bigger this time) is making things very difficult and I don't know if I see us making it to the end.

We had more sex in the third than the whole time! It wasn't pretty though LOL. Mostly toward the end because I was trying g to get labor started. I can't imagine having made so much time for it with another LO though!

I'm not there yet but last week my pregnancy app (at 22 weeks) talked about how as your belly grows sex will be more comfortable from a "rear entry" position and gave all these scenarios you could use like cop pulling you over for speeding and strip searching you… DH and I were ROLLING reading it… hahaha

@maybebaby: Ditto for me, we did it mostly because I wanted to induce labor Last time was about 3 days before my water broke.

A few times... but definitely not as comfortable or fun when I'm so large and self conscious. Might be kicking it up a notch here to get things going these last 2ish weeks!

My DH and I tried to do it a few times "birthday love" and both of us got a little weirded out. We've succumbed to naked snuggles which I really enjoy instead and DH doesn't think he's poking an eye out. LOL

Nope, none of that by mid second trimester! I was in way too much physical discomfort for any of that. DH joked he got tired of hearing "ow."

@maybebaby: Ditto! It's not really all that fun, but with S it was effective!

It wasn't as much but we did up till the last month. It worked out great when we did cause I like being on top.

I only did it to help with labor. Definitely no other reason! And it was not comfortable at all!

It worked but I'm pretty sure had the baby moved at all he would have run away.

@Smurfette: I can't seem to get in a groove being on top - the belly just messes things up - haha
@LovelyPlum: @Danizaur: I agree - I'm only doing it for DH right now... definitely not for me anymore.
@Mae: omg - where did you read that???

I didn't like sex near the end of my pregnancy. I was very much in the mode of "don't touch me." I also was super self conscious about my bump and everything. It took many months pp to get past that. Unfortunately, DH equates being a husband with regular sex, so it was tough there for awhile.

We loved it until close to the end. When I started to really have trouble turning over in bed (37 weeks) my husband started to lose interest. He liked the big belly, but not so much the beached whale aspect of it.

I think we only did it like 3 or 4 times. The last time was in the shower at 37 weeks and I lost part of my mucus plug during it and then completely lost interest.

Nah. I offered but DH wasn't really into it (which was just fine with me!).

We did! I felt really beautiful while I was pregnant, so I think it was actually the time I enjoyed sex the most.

We did until I was put on pelvic rest around 33 weeks when I was put on bedrest.
I delivered at 37 weeks so it was only a month and we started up again within 4 weeks of delivery so all in all not too shabby lol

We did all the way up til the day before I had DS. Definitely the last couple of weeks, it was a bit awkward with the belly but we made it work. I actually enjoyed sex while pregnant a lot!
