DD2 is 17 months, so they are really starting to actually play together.
DD2 loves to run around the kitchen island and have her sister chase after her. It just makes me heart explode to see them run around and hear them both giggling like crazy.

DD is still in utero, but DS will randomly come up and hug my belly and/or give the baby a kiss! It melts my heart. Can't wait to see how he interacts with her when she's here in 3 weeks!

Sometimes I catch E kissing G and telling her "Gracie girl you are sooo bee-u-tiful!" And she just stares at him and smiles and coos

DS2 did something not at all remarkable (I think he picked up a toy...I don't even remember) and DS1 said "Good job, baby E! You're doing it!" It was super cute.

There are lots of moments between my two girls (finally!!! It took quite a while to get to this point!) but the heart melting moments lately have been between DD2 and the LO still baking in my belly. Every night before bed, as we're laying down for story time, she pulls up my shirt and gives my belly a kiss, saying 'night night baby, see you later!' Then she blows a raspberry on my belly for good measure. It cracks me up and melts my heart at the same time!

I caught E hugging T the other day and telling him good morning and then my uterus exploded

The baby just woke up and was crying pretty hard as I was changing C's diaper. I had to go wash my hands first while she was crying, but C went over and put her hand on G's belly and G stopped crying and was just looking at her. So sweet. They really love each other already.

ds is having a bit of a rough time transitioning to the 2s class this week. but now his outdoor time coincides with big sis' and apparently he was crying for her when he saw her outside (they are on opposite sides of a fence) and she came over and tried to make him feel better and she told all her friends this was her brother. the teachers said it made him feel better!

K often tells her brother "I so love you, Max", or "I so glad you come out Mommy's tummy". And M is so in love with his big sister- he lights up any time she walks by

I love it when I catch DS sharing his snacks and toys with DD, especially when I don't tell him to share with her.

The other day Alice slept later than Blake (this rarely happens). I was downstairs with him and we heard her start to call for me over the monitor. Blake said "Alice!" and ran to the baby gate to the stairs. Then when we went into their room, Alice was standing in her crib and said "Mama!" then saw Blake was with me and said "B? My B? Hi B!"

@kodybear: awwwww my girls run up and hug each other at the end of the day. It's moments like those that make me want a 3rd!

My son told me "I happy baby brother coming soon." I'm pretty sure he'll reconsider once baby brother actually shows up but in the meantime I totally melted.

Dd1 cannot stay away from her younger sis (10 weeks old)! The kissing, caressing, wanting to hold her, sing to her, constantly telling her she loves her, and that they are already best friends. She has absolutely adored her from the second we brought her home. It seriously makes my heart explode!

Ds (4m) has been going through a phase (?) where if we walk away from him he cries almost every time, so dd (3) has started volunteering to stay with him and says things like "it's ok, big sisters here, I'm here with you" and rocking his car seat, holding his hand, putting her hand on the top of his head. Of all the things that have been tough about the transition to having two (ahem, tag teaming all night long!) we have been so lucky with this!
