- I dropped out of high school when I was 18 (before I finished) to deal with my mom going through a pretty bad depression brought on by family death + menopause

- I was burnt head-to-toe when I was 3 from aesthetic wax - my mom was getting her legs done and the waxer had the heater on a rolling chair that fell over onto me

- I have social anxiety, though I've gotten better at hiding it/dealing with it, I get really really nervous meeting new people and am usually judged as being bitchy when I'm really just uncomfortable

- I played soccer competitvely growing up and played in national championships.
- I grew up in a rough school and neighbourhood and became very close to choosing the wrong path in life.
- I was the first one in all of my extended family to graduate university.
- I shoot a recurve bow.

-I write, play sports and do everything right handed except for pool. I play pool left-handed.
-I snort when I laugh
-I used to do voice-over work and wish I had kept up with it. I really enjoyed doing that.

- I trapped black bear during my senior year of college
- I am scared of cats

- I wrote an unpublished novel at 16.
- I played volleyball in middle and high school and miss it every single day! I wish I would have become a coach.
- I've never owned a car and get excited at being a 20-something with a first car.

-I was obsessed with cows in middle school and became a vegetarian for 12 years because of it
-I lived in Montana for 3 years following grad school and still miss it more than I probably should
-I can wiggle my ears on command (a trait that my grandfather also had)

-I can remember birthdays and dates like no other. My best friend when I was 11's birthday is today!
-I am an artist. I'm pretty awesome at painting, drawing, etc even though I don't do it very often anymore.
-I'm a mean go kart racer. I have a knack for racing even though I don't care much for driving.
-When I was ten or so my family stumbled upon and rescued two missing kids in the woods while we were on a hike. They had been missing for two days.

- I'm a country girl born and raised, (yes it is true I have been cow tipping.) I can also shoot a gun/bow & bait my own hook, my dad took me hunting & fishing (much to his distaste I would put make up on first )
- I have 5 best friends who I speak with at least 3x a week. 3 I've known since elementary school & 2 since high school.
- I've been a bridesmaid 13 times

- I work as a graphic designer and I am almost completely self-taught. I went to a very general arts course in college and never actually had any schooling specifically for graphic design. I now have 7 years of actual experience with real clients, plus all the years I fiddled by myself in Photoshop with personal work.

- I am a classical singer. I was trained by a retired member of the Montreal Opera Company from age 10 to age 22. I'm a very good singer, but unfortunately I do not practice enough, so I'll probably never be great.

- My DH and I met when we used to be obsessed with playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). We met up at our local arcade and played together. It was years before we actually started dating!

-I've been in a few movies and TV, but all you'll probably ever see is the back of my head. (Unless you own The Village on DVD.)

-I have "hip dips." I just learned this term today. I was always wondering why clothes never fit me right, especially jeans! Now I know, and I know I'm not alone! (I googled, "Why do jeans never fit me right, weird dents on hips.") Seriously, I'm about to GIVE UP on jeans.

-I am 33 and I still sleep with a stuffed animal. BOOM

- I write, eat, and brush my teeth with my left hand, but I use scissors with my right hand, throw a ball with my right arm, and kick a ball with my right foot.

- I completely stopped growing for a while around the age of 2 and my parents and doctor freaked out and did a huge battery of tests, all of which revealed nothing. I eventually started growing again, but I'm short, just barely 5' tall now.

- I sleep with a stuffed animal.

- i'm a birder and i draw and paint birds too

- i'm american, have traveled to canada probably 20 times, and looked into emigrating there after george w. bush was elected for a second term

- i would drink at least four beers a day if beer didn't make you fat. i LOVE beer.

- I have a orchid named after me.
- I was filmed in a segment to be aired for national news, but it was cut last minute and never aired.
- I burned my hand and parts of my face during senior year of high school while frying fish balls on a too hot wok. The splatters of my face went away immediately, but it still affected my prom pictures. I had nerve damage in my hand that took years to heal.

Hmm but I don't have much to contribute
* I played trombone and was really good. I used to love doing solos because the audience would be waiting for me to pick up a little flute or some feminine instruments and their jaws would drop when I picked up a trombone and rocked it out
* In 2009 my DH and I quit our good jobs in England, packed a suitcase each and got on a plane to Canada with no jobs and nowhere to stay, all in the name of adventure. It worked out, we're still here and now have a little Canadian toddler.

@grizz: I ran track and cross country in HS. I intended to run (walk on) in college but had injuries and was pretty burnt out on running by the summer before school started.

- I'm American but have lived out of the US for almost 7 years.
- I have a deep long term memory. I have a few memories from before I turned 2 years old.
- I must eat something chocolate every single day.

- I was the first woman in my family to graduate from college.
- I can cook anything. And love trying to master really complex dishes.
- Even though I am really happy with my life choices, I regularly fantasize about my "alternative life," in which I live in Provence and spend all my time gardening, shopping at the farmer's market, cooking, and drinking wine.
- I have read every Nora Roberts book. (And, yes, I will now hide my face in shame.)

this is fun!

-I came really close to moving to LA and becoming a professional commercial dancer after high school, but went to college instead because my parents advised STRONGLY against it. "What if you broke your leg? - Career OVER"
-I've never liked soda
-I am a research - junkie. I love fantasizing about vacation or family plans and researching the hell out of every last minute... even if it's something we're not really planning to do! I may have already planned our first family vacation to Disney World... even though it won't be happening for about 3 more years!

- I wanted to major in English so I could be an author, but my parents were wary about me being able to support myself, so I'm a software engineer instead.

- I'm grossed out by white fluffy/smooth foods: fluff, vanilla/plain yogurt, whipped cream, etc. It makes me think of soap and it makes me want to vomit.

- I used to play World of Warcraft with my husband for 6 years and for 4 of them, I was a Guild Leader and he was a Raid Leader of our guild. We fought so much about the guild and raiding, that I ended up quitting for the sake of our marriage!
