I am amazed at how my daughter loves to follow rules! The other night I fell asleep while putting her down and she woke me up to tell me, "Daddy you have to wake up, I didn't brush my teeth yet!"

The other day at lunch, I used my finger to break off some stretchy cheese strands that were stuck between my spoon and my soup bowl, and my three year old said VERY sternly "mommy, you are NOT a baby, we don't eat with our hands!" She was legitimately upset with me! She's also fond of "reminding" her little sister what is and isn't a nice tone of voice....
