What baby book did you decide on, I just got this one and love it so far! I have filled out what I can, I did put all the page in plastic covers for protection. I was sold because of the 3-ring binder so I can add pictures, additional pages when need!

@jessiejo17: oh and I need to add, I've been extremely bad at filling it out. That's Mavrick's book. I never got one for Sienna. Massive parent fail.

I started out with a very comprehensive book for Wagon Jr. Then over the years I realized I wasn't motivated enough to fill it all out (journal entries, thoughts on the day you were born, thoughts on your first birthday, etc) and I didn't want him to look through it when he got older and think I didn't care enough to fill it all out! So when Lil Miss Wagon was born I bought simple books for both of them, and I transferred all the stuff from Wagon Jr.'s old book into the new one.

@Mrs. Sunglasses - I remember when you posted this on your blog and I loved it, but alas, I do not speak French :o)
I'm first born and my mom had mine filled out completely. 6 years later my brother was born. He has a book, but there is hardly a thing filled out. This was always my tease when we were kids - that mom loved me more b/c she filled out my book. Haha. Poor 2nd,3rd,4th, etc. kids!!!

@CarrieLouWho: HAHA love this, I'm the second born...my baby book has a lot of vague dates and lack of pictures. My older sister's is very extensive. I'm gonig to do my best to make sure all the kids are filled out since I know the feeling of wanting to look at your book and it's not full at all.

It has been the other way around for me so far, I already have more written in #2s book than #1! I feel bad because I was so terrible the first time and I kinf of worry sometimes that my oldest will feel like I love her less

I'm just making a photo book through iPhoto. I make a section for every month where I add pictures, milestones, clothing size, weight, length, etc, and write a few paragraphs about the month. Then when he is a year old I'll have a copy of the book printed.

I have a very simple book by Gibson, it is just the right amount of journaling for me. The pictures are all blank though, haven't selected/printed/mounted those yet!

@duckduckkristen: that's awesome! I've never tried to make a book in iPhoto. is it easy/cheap to order through them? I can't help but wonder if it's more money than making one on snapfish, for instance.

@sorrycharlie: It's really easy but I think it may be a little more expensive than the other photo book services. I like apple's layouts and design software better though and how easy it is to use my photos since they are already in iPhoto.
