I had a gender neutral one. It was just a footed sleeper from BRU.

@JerricaBenton: OMGGGGGGG SO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We're expecting a cold winter too and my EDD is 12/23..!

my sister bought us this adorable little outfit, so I think this is going to be the outfit we bring him home in:

@chopsuey119: I know! I figure if I order the bigger size then I can use it when we go out for walks as she gets bigger. And if I do get it I'll definitely get the off-white so it's gender neutral for a future babe

@JerricaBenton: If I was on baby #1 I'd totally get it. On #2 and pretty sure he'll be our last! :T

We brought her home in the same cardigan, booties and hat that my mom brought my brothers and I home in. It's gender neutral also.

@JerricaBenton: I have that coat in pink from DD #1. It is so cute! If we have a girl that is what she will be wearing home. over her clothes.
This is the outfit we are learning towards using as the coming home out fit. It is hard to tell but the little dots are actually stars.

@JerricaBenton: Oh my flipping goodness. That's is just too cute!! Love it!!!
@zippylef: That's so sweet that the coming home outfit has been passed down!!

@JerricaBenton: That bear suit is adorable! I would worry that it's too thick to use in the car seat though.
@zippylef: Oh so precious! And how special that you were brought home in that outfit too.
I'm going to bring my little guy home in a kimono top and pants that I got at Target.

love this post!! i'm in the midst of packing our hospital bags and just bought a hat the other day... i think ours will just be a carter's fleece footed oneside, it's white and has light blue and gray footballs all over it

@JerricaBenton: Hmm that might not work. Not even the NB size fit our little peanut. He was just over 7 lbs at birth - so he wasn't even that small. He couldn't fit in any "bigger" sizes - they were drowning on him!
We had a fleece suit for him also since he was born in February, it was 0-3 months and it was huge on him. I didn't even have him wear it because I didn't feel it was safe to even put him in it.
In fact, he fit into preemie sizes best for the first 3-4 weeks of his life.

@mrsmenow: Ooh I'll have to look and see if they still have the coat!
@Coco Bee: Yeah, I haven't decided yet - I might end up getting 0-3. My husband and I come from a long line of 9 pounders and she's already big but I know we won't know 'til she get's here!

Not gender neutral..but this was her outfit! (They sell other versions in boy or girl styles at target or Carter's)

@JerricaBenton: we have that outfit for LO (my dad works at LL Bean!) and it's really cute on, and also really easy to put on/off of babies. It is sized a bit big.

@yoursilverlining: Thanks! Yeah, I thought it looked like a quality design. That's awesome that your dad works there! I love LL Bean

We got this Carters sleeper on clearance at Carsons. It has a matching hat.

Not gender neutral but this is what she wore! It was cold so she didn't wear the outfit we got for her, but she looked comfy in this.

It was like this but another color and a slightly different sweater...although she didn't wear the sweater because it was so hot. She also wore a pink hat. We had brought several outfits but only this one in NB...DH helped pick it.

@mrsmenow: OK there is our outfit! That's the one we chose because
1- it has buttons
2- it has covered feet
3- it matches with a crocheted hat and mits we already had
4-it is pretty darn soft, isn't it?
love it:) our kiddos can be outfit twins:))

My mom owns a baby boutique and one of my favorite lines she carries is L'ovedBaby. So Little Lemon will be decked out in a kimono top with attached mittens, pants, and a hat. Or I might go with the overalls. Not sure yet, the clothes look simple, but so comfy and are gender neutral.

This is what he wore! I'm attaching a photo of him in the carseat ready to come home too even though you can't see the outfit really- I love the face he's making!

@TurtleDoves: I love our outfit! DD #2 wore these outfits all the time (2 piece snap with feet) they fit so much better on some babies than one piece sleepers.
@Running Elley: too cute! I love your car seat strap covers.

i'll update this with a pic of LO in this outfit in a few wks!

@zippylef: it's amazing how big she was! she almost doesn't even look like a newborn. It's also incredible how much she still looks like her newborn self! she has the sweetest little face!

not gender neutral...but petit ami (it was a newborn size and still swallowed my lil butters!) and convertible!!
eta:nevermind, the picture is just flat out refusing to upload. ugh.

The outfit we brought was too big, she was so tiny. My MIL picked up a few sleepers for us so she wore this pink one home.

This http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446391509 but in a very light pink. It wasn't what we planned to bring her home in. We forgot her coming home outfit, but this was probably more comfortable for her anyway.
