We have an older model of the Imaginarium train table from TRU, and it has been heavily used for the last 2.5 years. It has held up very well. Do you have the Thomas Track Master motorized trains? If so, they may not be compatible (possibly too wide and won't fit through tunnels). The tracks do work with the Thomas Wooden Railway trains (including the battery operated ones).

We have the Melissa & Doug multipurpose activity table and tracks. We have not set it up yet (birthday gift) and I'm praying it's not enormous.
