Hellobee Boards

I'm not real good at it yet, but I try and change my voice to different characters and act silly. LO is only 6 months so that amuses her, I may need to step up my game in a year or two Can't wait to read some tips!

ETA: I think a stuffed animal(s) would help, or puppets. Dressing up would be fun or going with a "theme" for the book with other household items. Making a craft to go with the book is always fun, but that becomes an entire afternoon

We act out the story with puppets sometimes; the kids really love that. I also do what is called dialogic reading. The first time we read a book, we read it straight through, and then we add in conversation questions with each reading after. It's meant to increase comprehension levels, and DD loves it!
