When do you think you would let your LO start shaving? Or maybe what is the youngest age you would allow them to start?
Would you be more likely to wait until they asked or would you more likely suggest if you felt like they needed to?

I'll never "feel like she needs to," personally. I grew up traveling a lot, but lived in a conservative area. The first person in my area I saw who didn't shave was my friend's mom, she was an artist. I still remember, she was like... a liberating influence on me. Anyhow. Then my sister went to an east coast hippy influence uni and most people didn't shave. Anyway.
I think we all shaved (I have several sisters) when we turned 11- going into 6th grade? I'm not sure when I would "allow," it, I'll have to wait and see. But, surely at least not before she asks about it. I imagine it will be a conversation we have casually as she is growing up, because she'll know I do it sometimes, and she'll probably know all my thoughts about it and that I am not the hugest fan of this arbitrary female requirement.
