DS is a year and I'm looking for sandals for him. I bought a pair of striderite sandals, but they don't fit his fat little feet. Right now he's a size 4, and I bought a size 5 since the weather wont be warm enough for sandals for another month or 2. But while they were plenty long enough, I couldn't fit them on his feet! It's like he's got a layer of fat on the top of his foot. His current sneakers are velcro, so they fit alright.

Any recommendations for shoes for fat baby feet? I'd love a pair of brown leather sandals for the summer.
