I wonder why no one got around to opening the mail. Even if they did, it doesn't display exactly when he was going to do it nor which theater, etc. It's still just so bizarre and saddening.

I think maybe he wanted someone to stop him. I don't think he's psychotic, but crying out for attention/help. It's really unfortunate no one saw the notebook before.

I'm not surprised it wasn't checked. I collect my campus mail every week. I'm sure this is something the psychiatrist did not anticipate, and it's rare to receive campus mail from patients.
