We haven't used it yet because my lo doesn't sit up very well on her own. But I'm excited for it. It looks super comfy instead of all those metal bars.

I didn't get one because shopping has alwats been a rushed event with us and it just seemed like more trouble.

I bought one and used it alot in the beginning for shopping carts and public high chairs. But after a while it became a pain to lug around with us so we haven't been using it much. I just sanitize the areas where he'll be sitting. Plus he doesn't like to sit still for long so comfort has never really been an issue with us.

Never used one. I'll just wipe down the area with a sanitizing wipe. I don't like to go OTT with eliminating germs.

never got one, my bag is already really full so i'm glad not to have another thing to carry around with me. we just wipe down highchairs and carts with wipes and it works!

We have one, we use it when we take LO grocery shopping. I like it because I can keep toys attached to it and he doesn't toss them all over the place. It is also a bit of extra padding on his back, which I like.

I got a lot more use from my cart than I had anticipated and used it from when my LO was 6 months 'til about 1 yr old - 6 months was when she was able to sit up properly and 1 yr was when she started walking and refused to be restrained. I loved using it on shopping carts cause 1) less surface area for me to wipe down and 2) shopping cart buckles never fit right; plus, they're usually one of the dirtiest parts of the seat. I also used mine on restaurant high chairs and on baby swings as a harness and extra padding.
I kept it in a crate in the car with all her stuff so that it would always be there when I need it. If we take my husband's car, I just move the crate.

I thought about it but decided against it. A friend of mine put it well, "you're going to have a daycare kid. They're around germs every day. A shopping cart isn't going to kill her."

For stuff that I'm not sure I'll use much, I buy used so I won't feel bad if I end up giving it away later. I bought my shopping cart cover on Craigslist for $5.

I don't want one-- I think it's too much of a hassle (something else to lug around-- I forget to bring the reusable grocery bags as it is), plus I'm not worried about germs. I don't plan on sterilizing our bottles, either. I guess I'm old school-- we survived without it and I don't want to "baby" the baby.

I saw this cool 5 in 1 cover a couple months ago.
It can be used a changing pad, shopping cart cover, swing cover, high chair cover and a car seat cover. Plus, it can be folded to fit into your diaper bag. It is about $65, though.
Oh, this is the blog that I found it on. http://www.metroplexbaby.com/MetroMoms/2011/20111022_BestHottest_Feature.htm
If any of you saw me post about the Baby Breeza Perfect Temp Kettle, this is the site I saw it on. Pretty cool stuff.

We definitely did without this, but that's probably because we don't grocery shop like people do in the suburbs. It's either online or LO stays in stroller and I fill the stroller basket with our items (it's an NYC thing partly due to certain stores having really narrow aisles where most people don't use carts). However, we do go out to eat a lot, so the high chair feature would be hypothetically useful, but with first LO we had the Phil & Teds Me Too chair that just connected to the table anyway. We don't use that for 2.0 now... Just put her in the resto's high chair. germs sherms... the cover is just another thing to lug around/store/wash -- no thanks!

We will be using one at this point. I think one of my sisters will make us a 'custom' one whenever we find out what we are having. My husband is kind of a germaphobe, so he will be happy that we will have something 'between' the germs and the baby.

A friend of mine's pediatrician actually told her NOT to use one of these. He said the more exposure they get to germs the better and to let them gnaw on the shopping carts as early as she could stomach it. I have to say, I don't believe in sterilizing everything and wipes and hand sanitizer and all that. Germ exposure can be a good thing!

I didn't even know what this was until I got one randomly at my baby shower. I put it in a drawer away for a long time until LO was old enough to sit up by himself and I no longer used the Snap n go stroller.
I would highly recommend getting one of these. I understand the whole argument about exposing your little ones to germs to build up their immunity...but shopping carts? they're pretty gross. My little guy likes to chew and put his mouth on everything...it would be a different story if he just touched things...but no, he must put his mouth on it...so this was a must.
