@Rainbow Sprinkles: I think it's just fine. I know people with names that you think sound childish in the abstract, but in real life are just perfect... Like a Cappie in her 50's and a Bunny in her 70's. Poppy is not that different from Piper or Pippa and no one thinks that those would age poorly.
If you are deeply concerned you could always give a big name that's rarely used. My Magnolia is known exclusively as Maisie though I do adore Magnolia as well!

I like Pippa a whole better than Poppy. My favorite of your selection choices is Ivy.

I voted Daphne although I think Sylvie needs to be back on the list.

@AprilFool: same! I like both those names.
I think I'm for pippa more than poppy too. I think poppy is adorable but a lot of grandfathers are called poppy so I have that association with it.

Poppy! I just worked with a client named Poppy, and I thought it worked well (she also had a great last name, which helped pull it off).

I vote Ivy! But I love all of them! Great choices. I have to say that while I find Poppy a very cute name, I agree with you that I don't know how well it will age.

Thanks, everyone. Ivy, Poppy, and Rosemary are my top 3, so this is officially the least helpful thread ever.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: lol
Fwiw I voted Rosemary. Second choice would be Ivy.
Poppy is too cutesy for me.
