I bought floor length black out curtains for LO's nursery before realizing that the heat/air vent is directly under the window so if the curtains are closed, the vent is covered. Ugh.
Does anyone have non-floor length curtains in their nursery that can show me a picture? I am just going to make my own but am unsure of what will look least awkward when it comes to length. Help! Google Images is drawing blanks!

I have this problem, but with baseboard heat, so we're going with cordless blackout roman shades instead of panels.

We have the same thing so we just raised the curtain rod so our long curtains won't touch. It works for now.

We had short curtains previously but then switched to the long ones. They looked fine, but I just ended up getting floor length the next time around.

I don't have a pic to show you but I did cut my floor length panels up to window height. I used the scraps to make a third matching curtain, since the store ran out of that style and I really wanted all three to match. I think it looks fine. Also, LO can't pull on it when she's crawling, I figure.

i usually do a little longer than the window sill... if you buy them from a store they're usually 63" or 45" in length
