LO has a double ear infection so she's on antibiotics for 10 days. I feel like I'm overly paranoid about her getting thrush after hearing about a few cases on here. Her pediatrician didn't seem that concerned by it but I'm still terrified of her getting it.
Am I overreacting?

I think it's natural for us new moms to worry about everything. If the doctor doesn't seem concerned than I'd try not to worry too much. Just know what to look out for. There's not much you can do to prevent it, so no sense in worrying about something you have control over.

You can give her some probiotics to help prevent the yeast from getting out of control.
I worry because DD had antibiotics in the hospital & ended up with a yeast rash that took over a month to completely clear up... the probiotics helped get the yeast under control pretty quick it was the little sores she got from it that took forever to heal up

She didn't get thrushbut she got horrible diaper rash/yeast infection. Our doctor told us to give her some probiotics an hour or more after the antibiotics and it helps to prevent thrush.
