I am switching out summer clothes for winter clothes this weekend, and I came across 30+ Charlie's old white Carter's onesies. I was just going to use them as rags because most of them have stains on them, but I was thinking.... I could dye them a dark color for Olive?
They're still in pretty good condition other than the stains. The ones that were in poor condition were made into rags long ago.
What say you... dye? Or not worth it?

I would! Totally would other than everything I've ever tried to dye turned out in a major fail. If they don't turn out well then you can use them as rags at that point?

You might as well try it with a few of them to see how it goes. No use wasting them if Olive can get good use out of them.

I totally would! I dyed a dress purple once and it turned out amazing! I used rit dye.

That sounds like a good idea. I would try a few to see how they turn out. If it looks good, then do the rest.

Yeah, totally! Dark, dark, purples and blues, and greens! I love jewel-coloured clothing.

I've done it! It's easy, and fun. I use RIT dye. I also used it to dye the crinoline for my wedding!
Just make sure you wash them two or three times when you are done to make sure they don't bleed later.

I vote for dying them. You can experiment with hues - it could be fun!

Do it! Depending on where the stains are, and if they even show up after dying them, you could put some appliques on them. So cute!

Yeah, you should dye it.
If the stains are in the chest area, you could put a sew-on or an iron on patch over the stain.

I was just going to suggest what bluestriped bee said! Definitely depends on where the stains are, but it'd be much quicker than dying the onesies. Rit dye is definitely the best.
You could also sew embellishments on the onesies--like little tutus on the bottom.

I haven't had a lot of success with dye, so I'd probably skip dying and do some appliques as suggested.
